A baby’s room calls for adorable decor for sure, but you’ll also need furniture and baby bedding that will make infant care all the easier (and safer). Here are the baby essentials for any nursery: Crib, cradle or bassinet Firm, flat mattress that fits snugly in the crib (less than two fingers should fit between the mattress and crib). 1. • Mum & Baby Instruction Manual now available on Amazon (Kindle e-book & paperback)

  • We actually Decided to go with two really basic pack and plays (1 for the room And 1 for travel) rather than one with attachments that will be outgrown within a few months and then a separate basinet for our room, since he’ll be sleeping the first few months in our room. Basinets are pricey and it would only last a few months and then we’d have to stick it into storage. I contemplated getting 1 pack and play with a basinet and a change table even after deciding against a basinet, but again. Basinet on the pack and play won’t last long, we already have a change table and we can change the baby right in the pack and play when it’s on the higher setting. And change him on top of a change pad anywhere really.

  • Just came across your page. I have twin boys that are 18 months and I’m also newly pregnant:) so we sound like the exact same family I’m definitely worried about how I will handle 3 under 3 so I’ll probably watching more of your videos to see how you survived!

  • Yaaassss on the Owlette sock! I am currently 34 weeks pregnant with baby number 4 and with all 3 of my other kiddos I suffered post partum anxiety. I showed my hubby this product and I really thought it was going to be an uphill battle to justify the price. However, as fate would have it there was another couple there who owned the product and the man started to talk to my hubby about it, and he was sold! So yayayayay totally looking forward to this (we also got the camera kit set up with ours). For my peace of mind, and the safety of our baby, it’s TOTALLY worth the money spent!

  • I just bought a used super yard off of the Facebook market place recently and it’s amazing for when I’m busy! Definitely a must have

  • Colour of pacifier blood hell some familes can’t afford to feed their kids she’s talking about her 10 pacifiers. First world problems

Do you need a dishwasher to properly clean the Boon drying rack? I live overseas and dishwashers are not common… Can I hand wash it, or will it not get clean enough?

  • Personally we hated the owlet. I thought being a first time mom I would really need it. So we tried putting it on, and every 30 min or so it would go off saying that reading wasn’t good. It would make my heart drop each time! The sock was on correctly, so it didn’t make sense what the issue was, and it just wasnt worth it dealing with the false alarms, it just caused more anxiety! Not to mention they also don’t prevent SIDS, it says so on their site, so what is the point then? That was the main reason I wanted it

  • I couldn’t watch this past the VERY FIRST ITEM. bouncers can be found for $30-$50 yet you consider a $200 bouncer a “must have”. I can’t afford to watch this video.

  • Thanks for this video,in my country they discourage making a one month old baby to sit yet I saw you try to burp little Jackson while he was sitting on the dads lap,is it healthy?

  • Thank you so much for sharing such a good video with us. I am sure its a very helpful one. I can also add some newborns must-have. here is the product link. You must see thank you. Link:

  • I’m going to purchase the babybjorn bouncer but I can’t decide on the colour. The dusty pink looks so pretty but does it get dirty??

  • How do I get in touch with you? I would like to send you a baby product that I’ve made and will be selling on Etsy. I’m just trying to get my name out there so I was hoping to send some to some influencers in hopes that you like it enough to talk about it

  • Not getting enough sleep as a baby stunts certain milestones, never sleep train your baby when they’re under 6 months, or have no sleep issues. Always contact a SLEEP EXPERT ON BABIES if you have issues. And do things for the benefit of your baby not JUST you. Babies don’t care if their pacifiers match their outfit. But ya know, do whatever you want with your baby

  • Sad I made a baby registry and no one from my baby shower considered purchasing anything from there. Oh well. but yes a lot of these things are def must haves. wish I could afford at least clothes for my baby or any of this but he has the basics and my love so it’s enough!❤️

  • I got a Boppy because I planned on breastfeeding but ended up not being able to. I used the heck out of that Boppy with bottle feeding and just helping my daughter sit up/get off her back for so long.

  • ey hey all, I tried many bags-my sisters old baby bag, a neighbor and 2 that I bought..I wanted something that just did more and guesses what I found it haha. I hope this info helps at least one person. Good luck guys.

  • Did you have to get 2 owlets for the twins? I am having twins as well but I know the app isn’t compatible for twins…or is it now?

  • No baby shower Idk wtf to get I got crib, rocker, burp cloths, wash coth, bottles, clothes, starting buying diapers and wipes, what else?oh I’m getting a car seat

  • I have the owlet and it’s given me so much peace of mind. I panicked every night worried that I would wake up and find that SIDS has taken my baby. It was torture mentally and emotionally. Once I got the sock, I felt much better especially that my husband could be at work and check in on baby whenever he wanted through the app. Now that baby is starting to roll over, we’re gonna get the camera that goes with it

  • Having a newborn is so hard. You make it look so easy. My newborn is very cute but he literally lives my boob to the point I fall asleep breastfeeding twice a day. Wish I saw this video a few weeks ago before I gave birth lol

  • If you’re tired of feeding your toddler or holding his snacks and bottle so you can be free this product will save your life like it did mine. Your kids can carry their snacks in Style with this amazing snack pot. take a look:

  • Just an FYI the dock a tot isn’t safe for sleep. Along with any inclined “sleeper”. They are not fda approved for sleep. Only products labeled as a crib or bassinet are approved and have actual guidelines and restrictions for safe sleep.

  • My little one is six weeks old and I have none of these apart from the zipper jammies but great video nonetheless! Might replace our bassinet with a pack and play next time around, seems like a great idea:)

  • Hello, young, new and expecting parents! Would you mind answering a short survey about some decisions you are about to make or have made? Thank you in advance <3 <3

  • The baby is not safe like this! No side bumpers as they can squish their face against them and choke! No plush toys! Check WHO guidelines!!!

  • Glad I already have most of these things. Little man is due in a month and half! Tho, for the little nail baby buffer…im just gonna save money and bite his nails off myself

  • I am pregnant with number 4 and never used the grass drier, the nose frida, or the owlet, or super yard. Not necessary. Love the pack n play, wearable blankets, robot vacuum and sleepers.

  • Some of these are not really necessary. Some babies doesn’t like to be swaddle. So instead of buying right away, u can use the muslin blanket and try if the baby likes it or not. Also, try not to buy bath essentials in bulk like shampoo/head-to-toe wash, moisturizer, oil etc. just in case the brand that you bought is not suitable to the skin of your baby, you can easily change it congrats to all the moms and mom to be out there

  • I completely agree with the boppy.  My LO loved his and that was the only way we could not have to hold him while he slept was have him in a swaddle or the boppy during naptimes.  I talk about that on my channel “Mommy Randoms” as well.

  • Hi, to anyone seeing this. Its a little weird for me to do this but i just wanted to share my baby registry of stuff i have so far. Not everything has to be purchased but if anyone will like to help a little. I will really appreciate it a lot. Im due December 4th but i wanted to start doing everything now since i just found out im having a boy and want to have stuff ready in advance. My baby registry is:

  • I watched all of your videos prior to having my baby in December it totally helped me create my registries, get registry freebies, etc. thank you!! I relied on you to get all the best baby products and love your humor!

  • A pretty and cute set for your child at the same time; with a very nice photo of a pretty cat with a staring gaze, with Lura’s Baby Collection you will enjoy all our beautiful products on sale throughout the year.

So what are you waiting for, click and check the store:

  • I LOVE that this wasn’t titled baby essentials. For me, baby essentials mean just that: clothing, food, a place to sleep and NOT loungers, white noise machines, bouncers and tech. These things are luxuries or “holy grails”, love the honesty of the title.

  • I am ur new subscriber.I am 7 months pregnant. My first baby after 10 years thanks to Allah,
watching ur video is making me emotional happy and smile like crazy.
I had no idea what to buy,Thanks for sharing

  • I understand how you feel about nursing in front of men. If I’m out of my home I try and find some privacy to nurse. But in my home I refuse to hide lol, my men can sit comfortably and visit while I nurse or they can excuse themselves to another room. My husband’s friend was visiting with me and I kept trying to give him hints I was about to nurse so he could have a chance to escape if he wanted to. And finally had to just go for it.

  • Did you use a baby carrier!? I’ve heard so many moms say it changed their life and noticed it’s not in this video! Wanted your opinion☺️

  • I like the play yard idea. But not sure how well it’d be on tile floor? I’m due for my 3rd in September and my son (7) loves to play in the living area instead of his room lol big shocker! But like you said his toys aren’t baby friendly. I feel like with the tile it’d slide everywhere. And yes baby bouncer is AHHHHmazing!!!!! I had one with both my kids and have one ready for this one. My husband got me the robovac for Christmas. 3000 sqft home ALL TILE!!!!!!!

  • I love this video now I’m 36 weeks pregnant the product the one you recommend all is amazing I ordered some of them I’m so happy thank you

  • I’m 18 and having my first baby(31wks2D). I’m having a boy but basically a lot of the stuff that I’ve actually bought myself(or have on my registry) are pretty gender neutral. His stroller plus car seat is because i do plan on having my 2nd near in age(2-3 years maybe). Although, I was given a lot of clothes that people were giving away so I went with it!

  • hi you can buy cute guedtama baby onesie from here

  • Its unfortunate that these big plastic baby gadgets get promoted so much. They just seem so wasteful. For me, the convenience factor just does not outweigh the thought of it sitting in a landfill for the next hundred years.

  • you actually do need wipe warmers IF you choose to use cloth wipes…with are 100% better than the disposable ones with all those chemicals

  • I hate almost every product from this video, especially the Doc-a-tot. It is not safe. And that swaddle forcing baby’s arms down☹️ and the owlet sock is not always accurate. It can give false alarms. And it’s not FDA approved.

  • Can you leave him in a Dockatot to sleep over night? I’ve read that it’s not safe from Lullaby trust but everyone seems to use them, just not sure if they’re using them whilst unattended? Just wondering whether you felt confident leaving babe in dockatot unattended overnight?
