  • 4 Main Things:
    1. Longevity The website has got a point of presence.
    2. Shared Value Sharing of knowledge, solutions, and experience (Extremely important)
    3. Community Management Empower the community to run the community. Moderators role should not be to talk down members but talk up.
    4. Trust Common courtesy and respect. Extract the real underlying problem of asker and come up with real solutions.

    Challenges:
    1. To create a safe environment for people to encourage users to interact, participate, and commit.
    2. Empower the asker by allowing them to reward expert with points (levels of certification).
    3. To hear what community has to say and respond to their needs.

To better understand these points, watch the video in full.

  • I’m trying to build a community for my brand..honestly I didn’t know where to start from but with these tips mentioned…I’m getting more ideas on how to go about it…thanks it was really helpful

  • Thank you for this. I learned a lot in this last 15 min then I did in the past 4 years.I Never knew what Internet Communities was…So because I am 13 yo ( am right on this) you say Community is to help others?…anyway you are funny..oh yeah Johnny Blue is my real name by the way…..but it’s not my last name. my last name is A Secret.

  • Hi, is there a way I can get in contact with you guys…it would be great if I could get help from you guys fo the thing that I am planning for… need guidance over clearing the path out…thanks:)

  • Why the hell would you hire someone who hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing so much so that he has to search online for someone to help him do his job so he can get paid because he bullshitted his way into a position that rightly belongs to someone else? I don’t understand that as an example!

  • I think I’m not too good with writing things down… I prefer to say that and pass my message freely instead. How do I start or build an online community that will be more of video community rather than the writing or chatting community.
