If you never light up, the odds that you’ll get lung cancer go way down. But you could still get it if you hang out around people who do smoke.

Some researcher proposed that there is no second hand smoke from a hookah, which is partially true, The charcoal does give off dangerous, poisonous and carcinogenic chemicals however.

  • Im not a scientist. But in my opinion most of people of smoke hookah doesn’t smoke it daily it might take a week to go to a hookah section. And i can see that the majority of hookah smoker’s share hookah section with freinds.

But on the other hand we can see that cigarette smokers can smoke were ever they are and all day long daily 24/7 and they doesn’t share it with freinds and they get most of smoke of the cigarettes into the lungs directly to feel relaxed.

  • I think after much analysis cigarettes are by far the most dangerous discovered, yet every air associated device in the 21st century is just completely harmful, as something of an anomaly. It could be how we design thingsand probably that the air is just bad anyway, and is compounded negatively more so by how we design products and combinations.
Anomalous, but it’s a good point that things have become unhealthy and profit driven as well as…compulsory.

  • I realized that once I Quit it smoking and friends were smoking near me I felt that chest clogged and sad reality families smoking around children thinking it less harmful than cigarettes

  • They are cheating people, and they should be held accountable for it. They are playing with words, you smoke with hookah 100 time smoke as you smoke with cigarette. What does it even mean. As an engineer I can tell you that this is total bullshit, by changing many gas property, you can change its volume at will, you can divide that by 10 with no issues. The only important thing that should be specified in this kind of test, is the quantity of intoxicant absorbed, but you can clearly see that they are passing through that part like it is obvious, they just say, we know they contain nicotine and carcinogens etc… even clean air contains carcinogens at very low concentration. You can watch tons of videos on youtube comparing hookah and cigarettes smoke, you will see that the filters they use to collect the particles from smoke are always clear with hookah and filthy with cigarettes.

  • Ugh but i love it so much.even have a nice lil collection of them.its so relaxing after a long day at work.but this vid is a eye opener. Guess i gotta wing myself off of it.

  • thanks for this video. for some reason i thought it wouldnt be as bad, so i smoked hooka as an alternative to cigarettes, which has helped me get off of cigarettes but now i know its just as bad i’m gonna try to quit this as well. i started smoking at 14 at a party. dumbest decision i ever made concerning my own health.

  • I did it for the first time today and I’m having a panic attack, because I don’t want to die at the age of 14. And this has made me even more anxious. I DON’T WANT TO DIE MY FRIEND FORCED ME TO DO IT

  • My neighbors just started smoking hookah on their back porch…..I live in a row house and they are aa short distance from our back porch…..when I walked out of my back door I can smell a sweet tobacco smell…..is it dangerous to my health to be outside while this is going on……and I can even smell it in my upstairs back bedroom……is it dangerous to sleep with windows open……thank you…..Deborah

  • I have a problem I’ve been smoking this for almost a year now but now if I smoke my head bcmz heavy and it’s difficult for me to breath n I’m addicted to it☹️

  • I have been smoking shisha since 2015 and since then my weight is increasing, I do overeat and my eating habits are not healthy, but I have the notion of quitting shisha.

  • Blow out one puff of hookah smoke and one soda bottle!! I would say blow out 3 drags to fill there bottle up. So sorry doc I dissagare

  • I only do shisha maybe once a week or sometimes once a month and that’s just with my friends when we go out to town for the night. I don’t drink alcohol and my diet is pretty good so I think I’m all good

  • Smoking hookah is extremely dangerous than cigarette extremely dangerous for health and all the organs in the body that one little taste in your mouth will ruin the entire organs.people getting cancer because of hookah.

  • I’m 15 My friends smoke but I don’t It’s REALLY REALLY Bad for you. Do not try it. It’ll be so bad that you can’t handle going one day to the mall without getting out and smoke or going to the airport and feel like you’re one of the idiots who are not cool at all. So Please This Is A Warning Do Not Smoke

Edit: The thing that’s heart breaking is that my Mom smokes and it Affects me (None Smoker) It HURTS When I Run. It’s impossible to run without coughing like crazy or to heavily breathe. I have now Asthma and the worst thing as you being a smoker is hurting the none smoker. To me I Hate people who smoke but I believe in you that you would Quit

  • They are using insta light coals that’s really bad for you they aren’t using fresh coconut coals lol non washable hoses lol that really bad for your lungs and throat

  • Shisha was a tradition in the middle-east, youths today in the UK in particular smoke it because they think its cool, dumb ass UK youths reuined the tradition.

  • Not to question your degree, but hookah smoke is not even smoke, its water vapor. The only dangers come from the unregulated additives in shisha. There is no tar nor many of the other cigarette additives… MIT did a fantastic study on the subject.

  • what about non-tobacco, non-nicotine herbal shisha? I’ve seen a rise in popularity of that alternative. Are most of these health risks coming from the tobacco smoke itself?

  • Where’s the truth campaign on Sugar, to me sugar is far more addictive and dangerous than Cigarettes, Hookah and Vapes, because the industry gets kids hooked as infants…
