  • About the body hair I was thinking the same as you for the longest time but I realised my bottom often smelled worse when I didn’t shave. I think the body hair down there used to replace our underwear back in the days but today since we are wearing underwear it makes it smell bad and our vagina can’t “breathe” properly. It’s either we should stop wearing underwear or then shave to keep the bottom fresh… I might be wrong as well but this is what I’ve observed.

  • Happy to see you caring for yourself.
Only give from your saucer you have to give yourself a full tea cup
    Love your channels you’re awesome

  • It’s very much informative and all
But where do I get the stuff you’re describing
Like where would I get the stuff you show in this video
Which online/supermarket should I go to??
Please tell us that too. It really helps.

  • I found this video looking for information for a graduate school project (counselor). I’m making a directory website for immigrants in my area to find beneficial information that helps them combat trauma, stress, etc. And I just had to say, though I am white, I have extremely curly, unruly hair (I call it my lion’s mane). As a teenager, young adult, and now an adult, my mother always told me (still tells me) to straighten my hair for job interviews, when going out to nice restaurants, when having pictures taken, etc. I find it extremely annoying. I love letting my lion’s mane be untamed =) Thank you for this video. I truly believe it will help a lot of people!

  • I have a boss that tells me to get over it and move on. I tell him that he can’t dictate how long it takes me to get over being verbally attacked.

  • Loofah sponges are from an actual Loofah Gourd. So it’s 100% biodegradable. Not bad for the environment, but when used for bathing they can get moldy fast!

  • I can relate! I recently had a baby and it has been very difficult to keep a clean house and to find time for myself. I am still working on those things, but I think when she gets a little bit older it will become easier. My life mantra is I can do it!

  • Thank you for what you have done for me! My husband stopped to fill the divorce papers after i contacted you to help me stop the divorce with my husband and now things are going much better now. As you said, all the process concerning the divorce have been cancelled and the evil woman that cause the problem in my marriage has be sent away by my husband and we are now happy together.email at ([email protected] gmail.com ) or whatsapp +2347038377635 Thank you Dr KEN for your help

  • I tried dental floss and now gaps between teeth have increased.what to do? This is because I have used it improperly. What can I do now?

  • Choose the right doctor, I’m now at risk for cancer. I am had a very poor service and cant have colposcopy even as private patient. I feel I do not need one and want a second opinion. I am autistic and my gnaecologist was so unprofessional i sent a letter refusing to have colposcopy. I’d tried 4 times to have complaint resolved. I’m moving after the pandemic so I’ll be in a different hospital by default. The appointment was focused on things that might go wrong and I was sent vague letters. It wasnt possible to get through to the clinic and the appointments were delayed I was told I couldnt even choose a different hospital as a private patient but cervical check said I could. In the end I feel I had no dignity and felt so unsafe i decided not to have another smear again. In ireland you can choose your doctor but not if youvr abnormal cells you cant. My service was very poor and I was humiliated I now have a phobia and cannot go into the hospital. I was sent a colposcopy letter with my initial appointment for smear and from start to finish I felt unsafe.

  • Ma’am like Ma’am I mean I knew I wasn’t the ONLY one who wrote in a journal, but when you pulled that stack up and was like, this particular journal…I felt that in my soul. I had one. I was burgundy with a lord of the rings symbol on the front. Very dark period in life. I’ve since thrown it away. Sad Face.

  • This is such a non professional advice and can be harmful to young girls… V washes shouldn’t be used unless prescribed, same goes with mothwashes… All these can have adverse effects on your body.
Rest about bathing all days is fine and nothing new.. Plus not to be washed with soaps everyday as it can dry your skin out of the natural oils and make your skin dry and flaky

  • what I’ve always told myself is to leave my worries with God. He knows my perfect timing and whats meant for my life. I remind myself of my blessings and how fortunate I am especially when I’ve seen in my travels true poverty. Most importantly I always pray that let it be God’s way and not mine and that he makes me an instrument of his peace.

  • This is my first time to watch your video and I completely fell in love with your content. Also the way you say things is calming for me Thank you!

  • Never heard of this channel but literally all this advice makes me feel so excited and cosy and happy and warm and I can’t wait to try them ☺️

  • “do this 2-3 days after you shave your armpits”….. But I shave mine every day… I wanna try it, but I’m wondering if I’ll hate her like she said!

  • Gina I am commenting on the beautiful face you have on top those feminine shoulders covered with such healthy skin. Very professional. ️️

  • U forget to tell one thing, after pee wash ur private area with water,i heard some people don’t follow this,
    Anyone heard abt this?

  • I am a straight girl and I am usually attracted to males and personally i prefer clean shaved men, but there is something about girls with short hairs that make me feel something…Does that made sense?I am actually confused of my sexuality

  • Great video, but buy scrubbing your tongue back and forth your actually spreading it, the write way to do it is to scrape it from back to front not brushing it like you brush your teeth.
    Not bossing just caring!

  • First I want to thank you for this video. I love your accent, and you are pretty. I have been on s self care wave lately, and I needed to see and hear everything that you said. ❤

  • Can you make a video touching more on the stress journal? That is something that I really need right now and I think can really help me!

  • Imagine if there was a self care video for WHITE women. How would that be recieved? Rascists. (Psim not white but i can see a rascist from a mile away)

White women and women of all colour recieve the same negativity but they dont bitch like black women do. You have issues with whites in their own country. Its like going to china and cussing them for being chinese!! Ignorant group of people.

  • New Subbie!!! Here
I love you already THANK YOU!!!
I Journal too!!!! It has been my thing since a young child! Us black women are becoming more and more empowering EVERY DAY!! I love it

  • Take notes ladies!
·When you wake up, Go clean your vagina with warm water.(WASH UR HANDS AFTER!!!)
    ·Drink a lot of water
    ·Eat pineapple
·If your panties/underwear smell, DON’T spray them with perfume. It will cause an irritation and possibly create an infection.
·If your panties smell, squeeze lemon juice into a bowl of warm water and rub the panties in the bowl for 5-10 minutes.
·Change ALL your clothes EVERY day.
    ·Wear COTTON panties/underwear. It’s more breathable.
·DON’T sleep with panties/underwear. Let your kitty BREATHE. I always sleep naked.
·Wash your vagina before bed also with warm water.
·Spread your legs out while sleeping. It really helps your kitty breathe.
·DO NOT use Summer’s Eve. It has dangerous chemicals.
·If you wanna wash your vagina, just rub it with warm water.

  • i already gave up on ever getting cured of HERPES because i have try many treatment none of them work out for me i have go to different hospital they always tell me same thing there is no cure for herpes when i came across a post about Dr bobizua in the net from a lady i contacted her and she reassured me with his herbal medicine which i took according to the way he instructed, that how i was cured. I doubted at first because i have been to a whole lot of reputable doctors, tried a lot of medicines but none was able to cure me. so i decided to listen to him and he commenced treatment, and under two weeks i was totally free from #Herpes. i want to say a very big thank you to DR Bobizua for what he has done in my life. feel free to leave him a message on email

  • Really enjoyed watching this video. Your voice was smoothing the whole time and can relate to everything you mentioned in your video

  • Brittany I love that you took the time to share these things about yourself and I really have liked you for a long time and I subbed quite a long time ago. After watching this today I really feel like I know so much more of who you are for some reason. I just feel more of a connection to you or like a lot of what you shared I really needed to hear.
I wanted to thank you, I am very hard on myself and I have been struggling with depression that I can’t seem to pull out of and blaming myself for many things that are out of my control. Watching you today has given me some good ideas and has reminded me of some basic things I haven’t been doing for myself so no wonder I feel so run down and sad. Thank you again, you are beautiful inside and out and I can’t believe how big Carter has gotten in some of the more recent videos I have seen and he looks more like Ryan as he gets older, thanks again for being so kind and genuine.

  • Inform yourself Girls!!! Don’t buy the next expencive horrible Idea of the f***ckn Textile Industry to keep us quite and steel many more money for the same shit in Eucalyptus green. ( https://reisefeder.de/2017/10/eukalytpus-europas-pest-in-baumgestalt/ ) the source is worth to translate it!!!! Madeira has lost the fight and maybe its biodiversity soon, too. for new “green” underwear?

  • Omg I have been waiting for this moment for many times ✨✨many many congratulations ✨✨ dear glamers may God make you more successful I am very happy for you and luv u

  • You do NOT need to take a hair wash every day! It strips the scalp of it’s natural oils. One only needs to take a hair wash twice a week or so.

  • Not sure why black men need to make black women feel beautiful, perhaps if black women refuse to outsource their sense of self worth and choose to own their perception of themselves. Just perhaps then we can look to ourselves and say “I don’t care about being beautiful as that is in the eye of the beholder “, perhaps we can say “I am worthy “! And that in itself is a beautiful thing

  • Thnx for post it n also plz up a vedio on best way for removing underarm hair removing at home….plz do it soon…cz im so confused bout it..

  • Yaaaaaaaaay I am so happy to see another black woman promoting self care for success. I’m doing the same thing too girl on my channel as well. Check me out. but i’m definitely subbed to your channel for more videos about this.

  • Ty great video started to lose the whole self care thing after a few yrs. I think; after losing some jobs where it became difficult to upkeep with myself. There’s always hope ladies to get back into a healthy routine

  • Oh wow! Love the pedicure suggestion. I’ve never thought of going to a spa and then having access all day. Awesome. I just discovered your channel and I love it. You feel relatable. Thanks from one mom to another!

  • Beautiful lady, great content but I was unable to watch the full video because of the ads that keep popping up
No judgement, go ahead make that money. My bad for watching it at the wrong time while I was trying to relax and fall asleep yet loud ads won’t allow me

  • I’ve literally just discovered your channel….would really appreciate a video on how to journal please, and I just want to say thank you for sharing this video because i am the only black person in my sixth form and it’s so hard that us black girls have to go through so much but as soon as I express some form of emotion I am automatically labelled at sassy or aggressive or angry and I’m fed up of not being able to express myself…also about the hair thing I get that all the time it’s really annoying

  • Ive been.having UTI for over 6 years. Gone to all doctors, but they keep giving me antibiotics. Also swollen stomach from bleeding hemorrhoids for over 1 year. Im taking a probiotics. Help. Seen urologist 2x, gastrioligist 2x, internal doctor. Help

  • I love your self care rituals. I, like you know the importance of self care. I work for plastic and reconstructive surgeons. When female patients come in to our office and want to have an elective cosmetic procedure, they feel guilty. Guilty for spending money on themselves, guilty that they will have a recovery period and will need some assistance afterwards, guilty they will need to take a little time off of work. And I always tell how important it is to take care of themselves. I tell them just like on an airplane, they tell you if there is trouble to put your oxygen mask on first before helping your children or others. Because you’re of no assistance to anyone if you’re lying on the ground. And as women we naturally and instinctively take care of everybody but ourselves. We have spouses, children, aging parents, siblings and neighbors that we help. So that leaves very little time for ourselves. So yes, we need to prioritize and take care of us so that we can feel good in our selves and then we are able to help others. So kudos to you for learning this valuable lesson early in life. It will take you far. Have a wonderful day!

  • Ugh you’re my best friend in my head lol I really appreciate your channel. Kudos to you for being so raw and honest while also helping others. You are so smart and a beauty!!!

  • This is not very scientific.
Body hair is actually a vital barrier against infections, and removing it leaves the skin vulnerable to rashes, chafing and potential infections. Women have been conditioned into thinking of body hair removal as hygienic whereas this does not at all apply for men. Why?
Moreover intimate washes can cause massive changes in healthy microbiota in and around the vagina and vulva. The healthy female genitalia (yes, including the hair) is good at self cleaning, and the kind of products which actually help and don’t disrupt this are not well understood.
It’s important to give such advice to the general public after consulting a doctor, or at least put a disclaimer.
