  • I drank like beer only like a fish for years. But I always drank black hard coffee every day. It seems coffee stops liver damage by 40%.

  • Im 20 and been I binge drinked every day for a whole year of 2018 would drink about a quarter of tequila bottle and 2 beers in less than an hour my eyes had yellow spots on them the doctor said my liver was inflamaited that all I needed was to stop drinking I did all bad symptoms went away recently I got checked again now I’m all fine my liver is working like it should be but I’m wondering if I could still drink or if I can’t dring ever again I want to know if I have permanent damage but the doctor didn’t tell me I would like to know if anyone has had similar story that could help me I’m hoping I could still drink

  • Boy; what a reverse marketing scam. If there is a problem with this why does it promote 2 drinks a day? Oop’s! Gotta “sell” the alcohol.

  • We feel like we have gotten to know you two a little bit from your videos and our comments back and forth. We are praying that this will go on a long time.

  • Wow, can’t imagine how difficult this all must have been to go through. Stay strong! Sending lots of good vibes for continued health and many more Disney adventures!

  • A big part left out when it’s so far that you turn sunflower yellow eyes to major swelling don’t know where you are can’t walk speak know who ppl are within hours major deterioration. So if you think you can stop when these cat proms come. Think again. I saw it first hand rapid deterioration within in hours. Dealing with a family member right now on kidney dialysis blood transfusions all at the same time. I’ve never seen nothing like IT in my my life.

  • I had no idea!! This video actually made me cry and I don’t do that very often. If there is anything I can do for you, please contact me. My prayers go out to Gary, his family, and yourself.

  • All those comments from hosts about “to much alcohol can be harmful” or “little drink can be good for heart” sounds like they were paid by alcohol industry not to say that any amount of alcohol is harmful.

  • Lost my best friend to liver failure at 24 from alcoholism, now I’m going to lose another friend at 32. Alcohol can destroy your body and life.

  • First off we are prying for you and your friend at this time of need.. i know we haven’t commented alot on you vids. But we have watched most and truly like them. Hope he gets what he needsin this time of where the world has decided to go crazy. I remember that look from when my wifs father in law had liver failure. Prayers are going out.

  • Learning about this in class from a doctor of pathophysiology who has examined corpses and said death by cirrhosis is THE most horrendous death she has witnessed. The liver is so important because it plays a key role in:
    1. breaking down carbs, fats, and proteins from our diet to generate energy for the cells in our body (when liver isn’t able to function properly, you become lethargic and emaciated)
    2. getting rid of ammonia a toxic waste product from the kidneys by turning it into urea, which you then urinate out (if your liver can’t turn ammonia to urea, it can wreak havoc on your brain)
    3. making proteins i.e. plasma proteins that help your blood stay in your blood vessels as well as clotting factors so you don’t bleed out (if the liver can’t make these plasma proteins, you can bleed from your orifices)
    4. detoxifying drugs (if your liver is already struggling to detoxify, then any additional alcohol intake will only further damage it. Toxins will stay in your blood and go on to damage other areas of your body such as your brain)
    5. storing vitamins
    6. producing bile to aid in digestion
    7. excreting bilirubin, which is a waste product that results from the breakdown of red blood cells red blood cells turn over every 4 months (if the liver can’t excrete bilirubin into the stool, your stool turns white-ish and you can have jaundice which is yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)

I’m posting this in hopes of educating those who are interested in finding out the consequences of binge drinking. If you’re trying to quit, I applaud you and wish you best of luck. Please reach out to your doctor, family members, and friends if you find yourself struggling. Make sure they help you through it. Your body does amazing things everyday to keep you alive, please help it help you.

  • This is an amazing story of heartbreak and survival and I wish your friend Gary well and thank you for telling the story…This puts a lot of things into perspective especially right now with everything that’s going on…Tomorrow is never promised that’s for sure.

  • Great video Big Red… hard to believe Gary went from knocking on heavens door to pretty stable. PBC is a tough disease, but WDW has been an awesome place to celebrate being stable… Almost gone, then flat lined for 1.5 minutes by bad anesthesia, cracked ribs from CPR, more recovery… those Annual Passes sure improved the quality of life in 2019! Tear Jerker… dang what an edit!

  • It’s not a joke if I would of known this I would not of drank the way I did my doctor gave me 4 months to live I chose life I damage my liver I can never drink again if I do it could kill me so listen to what he saying I am 45 don’t wish this on anyone so be careful when you drink

  • Can anyone give their thought in my situation please?
I used to drink heavily got diagnosed with a fatty liver and severe fibrosis, I quit drinking and my liver scarring has healed but I was never told about how much fat was left in liver if any. Anyways, I now have really high cholesterol which I didn’t have while abusing alcohol for 25 years. Could it be that my liver is getting rid of the fat in it and that is what is going into my blood? Any thoughts welcome, thanks.

  • I am being touch when reading your story. Enjoy your life with your friend and family as much as you could. Life is short. we could not guaranteer what tomorrow will be especially during this terrify COVID-19. Be strong, stay safe and healthy to all of you!

  • so true you cant really say what will happen tom We must always thank God for our life and be the best ship I Pray that he will be fully recovered thanks for sharing this inspring video and your story

  • Take care of your bodies everyone. You only have one body and if you abuse yourself, chronic health problems are hell. Cherish your good health.

  • You made me so emotional. Have become attached to the both you in this short period of time. Seeing the photos of Gary makes my heart have pain, plus that terribly sad music!!! You really know how to get to your viewers. You keep it so real. Dear I am so emotional right now. I love you guys so much. I pray for the both of you to be healthy and happy always. I want you both to have very long lives. God bless you both ❤️

  • Just want people to take this seriously I lost my husband of 3 years to liver failure. He was only 26 I showed him this video n he went to the doctor but it was too late

  • What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. Great reminder to be appreciative for what we have & how short life may be. Glad your friend is doing better.

  • If you drink ton amounts then you deserve it I’m sorry but that’s your choice / your intentions / your decision/ your control for süffering your organs. Don’t blame your issues on someone else’s sake. The truth hurts I know what a shame.

  • I’m a binge drinker, I came across this video in my Day 9 of 30 No Alcohol Challenge and while watching I think I’ll make this challenge a lifetime.

  • One of my close friend had liver cirrhosis, he have tried almost every possible way and every type of medicine. But at the end he used Ayurvedic Medicines from Planet Ayurveda and got relief. After that I also always preferred Planet Ayurveda and recommend this to everyone.

  • Brave man my uncle red stay healthy always may Allah bless you inshaallah tommorw to will be promised stay happy always live life to the fullest stay healthy

  • Good interview, BUT: Interesting is that yous did not talk about natural treatments such as. General Detox / Liver Cleansing / long Fasing to force Autophage / Green Juice Fasting with no (Sweet) fruit fructose / Water Fasting/ Dry fasting /Colan Cleansing / Enemas / Liver diets / “”Coffee Enemas..!!!
” Coffee enemas support liver function; they dilute bile, dilate blood vessels, reduce inflammation of the intestines, and enhance (gluthianone S transferase GOOGLE IT)., thus facilitating the phase 2 liver detoxification pathway.”

Oh and anything else come to mind??? Sauna to sweat out and help reduce toxic load. MILK THISTLE EXTRACT.! So you missed 12 treatments.. but i hope this helps.

  • Hi all. If anyone having liver problems whatever end stage also plz don’t worry. My brother had problems with liver for last month. He has attacked severe jauntice and his bilirubin was 29. • i come from a family of long history of liver issue. my mother died of it, my sister also died of liver disease and digestive issue, i my self, last 4year was Diogenes of the same ailment. i have been spending heavily on medications but the illness was stronger. so i stated searching everywhere for a alternative, cure doing all i can to brake away from my family hereditary ailment. with great amazement, early this year, i was surfing the web to check for herbal medication as alternative. then i saw a comment about Dr.Aham and how he cured a patient of liver issue whit pure natural herbal medication. i decided to reach out to the herbal doctor, he prepared some herbs and sent them to me. he guided me on how to use the herbal medication, which i did and I kept in touch with him. told him the reactions as they appear and I followed all procedures as instructed. After for about 28days, Dr.Aham asked me to go for a check up which I did. to my surprise, the result was NEGATIVE. I was rescued that very moment when I thought all hope was lost. I just want to encourage all individuals out there suffering from one ailment or the other, you don’t have to suffer in silence anymore. there is still a huge chance that you can get well again. thanks to Dr.Aham. he is the right person to write….believe me and i assure you, you will be glad you did.
