  • Hi Michelle, what do you think about butylated hydroxyanisole, which is contained in almost every Tretinoin cream? It’s considered to be potentially carcinogenic for humans it is for animals.

  • Thanku so much…❤️❤️you really make great videos..they were very helpful for curing my sisters skin and now she is just osm…thanku so much

  • Sorry…but this video is totally uninformed. You mention the SPF in moisturizer being a poor alternative to actual sunscreen as you “don’t know how much sunscreen is in it”.
Under consumer law, it would be illegal to advertise a product as having SPF 30, 50 OR 15 (regardless of whether it is foundation, moisturizer or plain sunscreen), if said product contains less than the indicated amount of specific product.
I suggest you do more research when making these videos as some of your points were completely misinformed.

  • I just ordered my box! I’ve been wanting to try three of the products in it and at that price I just can’t pass it up. I’m glad I can support your channel while shopping for things I was already interested in buying.:D

  • Hey Claudia! I found your video after someone linked your review on the Asian Beauty subreddit . I really liked how to made this video… especially how you emphasized the clean and compact packaging ! I think if you made a price analysis for this product, it would have made your review even stronger … kinda like how you compared the textures to the Klair’s sunscreen. For example, $25 for 50ml is a bit expensive ! Even The Beet Shield from Krave Beauty is $20 for the same amount. Anyways, this review was really comprehensive! Keep up the great work Claudia!

  • Biotique Bio Aloe Vera Baby Sun Block SPF 20 UVA/UVB Sunscreen. So gentle that it can be used on 6 months old babies. Each and every ingredient is natural

  • What a great idea! This is something a lot of us can relate to! The Klair’s sunscreen is my favorite and I’m almost finished with the skin calming cream. I have a sample of the mandelic toner and really like it is this box is a great way to buy things I already enjoy.

  • I’m a baker and that’s a terrible analogy. There aren’t less amount of an ingredients in a cake mix vs making a cake from scratch. You still need the same amount of ingredients just that the cake mix already has some mixed in. Now, does a cake taste better made from scratch for sure!

  • I love the Cle De Peu radiant corrector for eyes. I picked it up following your review and I am shocked by how long it lasts (both on my face and in the tube). I’m ready for a replacement as well. I feel like I blow through the YSL Touch e’clat, but this lasts and is gorgeous. Its good for light/no powder days and I think I like it as much as the Dior. Hard to say though because the Dior forever concealer is just ridiculously good. After a year or so of feeling like every concealer accentuated my undereyes, I finally feel like my concealer game is strong. And I appreciate these because I am on a similar search for a matte foundation. I’m finishing the Smashbox that released last year, which, if you have to work 15 hours straight while talking with a group of people is bulletproof, but it is so intense in terms of coverage. Full on mask. Even when I mix it with a serum foundation. Mask. So it’s been helpful for me professionally, but yikes, I would prefer something less intense, especially considering I generally prefer light to medium, leaning light, coverage.

  • Spot on! My dream package for a really good price, I would prefer the klairs soothing unscented toner instead of the mandelic acid one but I’m keen on trying with this price:) quite excited by this package, first Corran skincare since March yayyy!

  • I dont know if I should double cleanse because I take my make up off direktly after school (around 2 pm) but I’m only supposed to use my cleanser (cerave renewing…) in the morning and in the evening. So I dont know if I should also use it in the noon. Wouldn’t that be too much? please help! I have acne and I dont wanna make everything even more worse than it already is!

  • This foundation looks beautiful and seems to be comfortable to wear.
Reno, Nevada has been getting lots of the California smoke too.

  • Girl, you know you can rock a hat. I can’t tell you how many I have purchased through the years. I even tried in the children’s dept but, that doesn’t work either. I have a small head. You are spot on about the prices of glasses & lens. I wear progressive lens so one pair of glasses & one sunglasses if I’m lucky. My lens are expensive (one eye works other lazy). Thank you for the video..loved it. Bisous ♥️

  • The Chanel Ultra Le Teint velvet works wonderful for me and I have dry mature skin. I apply a thin layer avoiding under the eyes and use concealer for that area instead. This Cle De Peau foundation seems like another winner hmmm I’m might need to get it

  • Stop. LITERALLY LAST NIGHT I NEEDED PRODUCTS LIKE THIS. I was like my skin needs a break but im breaking out so i still need actives.

  • For combo sensitive skin… is the Keep Cool sunscreen enough provide enough moisture to skip a traditional moisturizer when you use it? Would using a traditional moisturizer and then Keep Cool on top be too much / too greasy? How does it stand up under makeup? Any pilling?

  • I’ve been investigating top remedy for colon cleansing and discovered an awesome website at Dajons health plan (google it if you’re interested)

  • hi michelle, I recently found videos about LED Masks for treat the skin, like the one from gothamista, and I will like to see your approach in this studies. btw, love ur channel. Lov from Brazil!

  • hey awesome vid, great tips for reapplying sunscreen when you are wearing sunscreen.
i like to apply the sunscreen on my face, ears as well as my neck and chest everyday.
My friends have told me that surfer’s eye (pterygium) can be annoying and slightly painful to deal with, hope yours heals well and that you don’t suffer from it for much longer.
here in Oz we have alot info on sun care including different clothing that provides protection such as coolibar and solbari if you either want/need to be out in the sun during the hotter parts of the days ( try to stay out the hottest part of the day approx. 11am til 2pm).

As for actual sunscreen i find it depends on what makeup look you are going for and if you are planning to be out alot of the day. The seasons and occassions/activities also play a big part in what sunscreen i choose to get and in form i choose to get it. Example using a sports or wet sunscreen designed for what you need it to do such as banana boat sport sunscreen (SPF 50), neutrogena beach defense (SPF50), clarins SPF50 for everyday use. Also having a zinc stick handy and a lip balm with an SPF in it is great as well.
If those brands dont wont for you sun bum is good and also ask in some surf shops as they tend to have some really sunscreen choices.

I’ve got pale skin so my major mistake with sunscreen is when i don’t reapply often/as recommended so the tips you give are a really big help. thanks

    Sorry for the long comment.

  • Hmmm…I wonder what that matte Chanel foundation you’re referring to might be? Chanel was one of the first brands that got me into luxury beauty. I remember the Matte Lumiere foundation, but that came in a glass pump, not a jar like you described. I do tend to prefer matte foundations, but not when they feel like they’re going to crack or enhance the look of lines/pores.

  • Congratulations Michelle!!! Quick question, doesn’t the shea butter in the klairs calming cream cause some blocked pores? Whenever I use a product with shea butter I break out:(

  • Great to highlight using sunscreen but you’re not using enough. You need to put at least a 1/4 of a tsp just to get adequate coverage to your face alone and reapply every 80 to 120 minutes. If you’re fair to light complexioned I highly recommend PCA Skin Water Resistent Tinted Sunscreen 45 SPF or Australian Gold Tinted SPF 50 Sunscreen. Colorscience also makes a powder sunscreen that is awesome. Plus it’s a great idea to layer products with SPF so a moisturizer with SPF, a sunscreen and a SPF containing foundation. The analogy of the cake is not a good one regarding sunscreen protection.

  • Loooooove your box! Had to go over to wishtrend right now and buy myself this box. It’s my first box that I actually wanted everything in the box. Sooo, I had to pick it up! So happy that my first wishtrend box is supporting you. Thanks sooo much for your content and information!

  • When you say alcohol isn’t bad for your skin, you’re talking about the oddly named ones aand not alcohol and alcohol denat. right?

  • To be frank, all the people who are complaining about tanning, only use of spf 100 and above is effective. Spf 20, 30, 50, is gonna do nothing. Also, most of the people dont know correct amount of application. Spf 100/ spf 150, one tablespoon for face and no one can tan you easily for 2 to 3.5 hrs. Also keep sunscreen spray handy to apply over makeup every 3 to 4 hrs.
All this info is given by my mom who is a dermatologist .

  • That has to be the loveliest matte foundation I’ve ever seen. I have dry skin like you, so most matte base products are a no-go, but this Cle De Peau foundation applied & wore beautifully on you! The EM Cosmetics tubing mascara is going to come home with me I adore a really good tubing mascara, & I loved how feathery, yet very natural it looked on your lashes. Another wonderful review/wear test; thank you so much, Michele!

  • I love every single one of these products. I’m so happy to see my fave skincare youtubers teaming up with wishtrend for these collaboration boxes. Wishtrend is amazing! Boxes are amazing. Products are amazing. Congratulations Michelle!!! I’m definitely going to pick this box up now.

  • I love the ‘nerdification’ bell!!..Also been v keen to try this sunscreen so taking advantage of this opportunity box purchased! Thanks Michelle!!

  • That foundation looks wonderful on you! Especially impressive since you are dealing with dry skin. The finish is lovely and natural looking, although you do look polished. So glad it wore well all day on you too your search for a matte foundation is over. Yay!

  • Ayesha is the best,as she explains everything property, before choosing any product I always watch videos from Glamrs and then buy the product.thank you Glamrs.

  • Congratulations on the collaboration You did a nice job of picking products that cater to a variety of skin concerns without creating a selection that does nothing but suits everyone!

Side note: has anyone experienced breakouts from the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream? I’m tempted to try it but the shea butter is making me hesitate. Yeah, comedogenic ratings aren’t definitive and it varies widely among individuals etc etc but I still am curious!

  • 05:17 I hate when they do the key ingredient thing. Just give the whole ingredient list. I have to read it regardless because the ingreadients I am allergic to, have a tactile aversion to, or makes my skin break out are never the fancy ingredients they like putting on these lists anyway.

  • This is not enough SPF at all. So essentially you’re not really doing much as far as the title of the videos goes, this is NOT how to apply sunscreen.

  • the brand said that this sunscreen is suitable for sweating and outdoor activities as it does not sting the eyes is it true?? will there be any white residue of the sunscreen on the face after sweating?

  • I finally tried Korean skincare and i’m hooked! The Midnight cream went on a test today over my light rosacea and i had no reaction:) Can’t wait to try more, until now everything worked and with the help of a few great Youtube channels (yours is one of them) i understand a bit better what my skin needs.

  • I’m guessing most matte foundations have alcohol to help with the dry down? As long as it’s not in the top half, I don’t mind it, particularly because I will have my SPF and primer under it.

  • Hi Michelle! I want to ask: is it okay to rinse my face with water after I finish the sheet mask and let all the serum absorb? Then I dry my face and put on a moisturizer.
It seems that doing that is making the effort of using a sheet mask go to waste but I dont like putting moisturizer with all the leftover serum from the sheet mask because it feels so sticky:( Please send help!! Love your videos!

  • Hi glamrs i have a confusion about my skin type some times like dry skin but nose and fore head little oily. Some times litile oil face fully so i am confused which sunscreen is best for suggest me plz

  • Do you have any similar tips for touching up undereye concealer throughout the day? Once I set with powder, I’m unsure what to do, but my circles need a little extra coverage throughout the day. Thanks!

  • That’s the sunscreen I use anyway, I’ve really been wanting to try the Midnight Blue cream, and just those two together plus the shipping fee would cost as much as this entire set with free shipping…. Michelle you’re a saviour

  • ORDERED!

You influenced my purchasing decisions for three products I now reach for regularly, ‘Cicaplast Baume B5’, ‘QV Intensive with Ceramides Sting-Free Ointment’, and Lanaté Cream.

Looking forward to incorporating more of your recs into my routine ^_^

  • Great box:D
    Video request:
Recently i have heard the word anti-inlamatory get trown around a lot when it comes to skincare, but unlike with anti-oxidants a can’t really find a good explanation for what it is, what it does and why it is recomended for say redness.
It seems to be a basic in skincare yet i can’t really find a simple explanation of it:/
FYI i do think you could explain it well:D (you explained spf ratings and i did not get those before watching your video on them)

  • Michele…so natural and beautiful on your skin. I haven’t recieved mine yet but I am extremely excited about it!!! Thank you for such a lovely review!

  • If I didn’t already have a few of these products in my stash/rotation, I’d definitely be picking these up! I love the Blue Cream, SPF, sheet masks and Mandelic Toner. Awesome kit, and congrats on the collab!!

  • This was such fun! I love the hats and sunglasses! I wear both always in the sun. Really like the cat eye frames. Betsy Johnson masked such fun hats, too! I have and like the Cotz sun lotion. I read it’s a favorite of many movie stars. I’m curious to see what you think. Have a sunny week.

  • Never double cleanse before, only cleansed one time, never wore makeup and never used spf sunscreen… I don’t own any spf sunscreen, not even my mom.

  • Great curation! I’ve been waiting to fill up my cart to replenish the sunscreen and I do like the mandelic acid toner. Also wanted to try the cream so this was perfect for me.

  • Dear Michelle, I’ve been wanting to introduce acids into my routine for a while but honestly it scares the crap out of me. Would Mandelic acid be a good place to start since it’s gentler than other AHAs? Is my skin going to develop a bit of tolerance to AHA by using Mandelic acid so I can transition to something stronger?
    Thanks:)

  • If I don’t wear make up often, should I still do double cleansing? Should I still consider buying the first product Susan recommended?

  • Great video, Tammy. I use Cotz and Australian Gold mineral sunscreen. Want to try color science. Good sunglasses are a must. Going to Marshall’s today to look for hats.

  • Michele. I am also in search of a matte foundation w/spf and I am a novice to this beauty line. Thanks for the video and the wear test. This deserves a deeper dive on my part. Appreciated!

  • [ oily skin type ] I cleaning my face with cleansing balm for 20 min because of instagram then my cheeks start to becoming more dry, harsh when you touch it & it’s sensitive. God that’s my fking nightmare. But i think i was wrong tho & didn’t research about it. Did anyone give the same results like me? I’ll wait for couple weeks. It’s my 4th day & i hope it’s getting better

Edit: It’s getting better after almost 2 weeks

  • Thanks for another informative video. You look Great in hats, and you know now to style them.
Love the sunglasses, very cool!! Looks like you’re ready for summer weather!! It’s cold here in Michigan too!

  • I Just love you! You always make me smile! I love and wear hats and sunglasses too. Due to health issues I recently lost a lot of hair, so I may need to buy new ones if mine do not fit well anymore. Praying it grows back as I heal, because it can be hard on the self esteem. Thank you for this video!

  • I have been following you for some time now. I wanted to buy the products recommended in this video. But, the discount codes didn’t work. Can you please let me know if it is not valid now? Much love. <3 <3

  • Wait so do you take the oil cleanser off with the second cleanse like put it right on top or do you have to take the oil cleanser off first? If so how lol I’m stuck

  • 3:30 that amount you use is FAR TOO LITTLE!!! Please watch professional dermatologists’ videos on how much sunscreen is effective to be applied!

  • But I love all those cute little serum bottles! They were responsible for my skin’s redness though, and once I took them out it disappeared. I have found that the niacinamide in my products is enough, and a separate product was not needed. Same with my H. Acid.

  • I always wear a large rim hat during the sun winter or summer I have Lupus and I really have to watch the sun. Now I only have 1 pair of sunglasses and 1 hat.but all them looked beautiful on you

  • Hi Michele, nice video:) Have you ever tried La Prairie Skin Caviar foundation? I would truly appreciate your opinion on it. Got a jar recently and not sure whether to open it or to give away ))))) thank you:)

  • I’d been double cleansing for ages but I guess I didn’t do it properly because my foundation and eyeliner would still be there. Then I started using coconut oil and it blasted off all of my makeup. I’d rinse it totally clean and then do a balm cleanse, and my skin cleared up and felt a lot healthier. Two other things that really helped my skin were cutting out dairy and drinking a lot more water.

  • Ma frvt ma frvt chennal please make video about hands n feets care

  • I love the hats and sunglasses,, can you do a video on how to keep/store your hats and keep them nice. And clean, what do you use to clean your glasses?

  • Wow Michele! This foundation is beautiful on you. What a big difference between this and the Tom Ford foundation. This foundation looks like it was made for you. Thank you for sharing Michele. Have a lovely evening.

  • Can you show us In what order the product should be used because I’m confused as to when I should use a retinol should be before the glow tonic after I have a prescribe medication for my rosacea so when should I use that

  • None of these worked for me…Used to use neutrogena and along with lotus….Last year went for a beach vacation…And spent just 3/4 hours…Got tanned, burned like hell…..I had to consult with a dermatologist and it was photodermatitis…It was that severe… Neither i have sensitive skin nor acne prone….My dermatologist suggested me ZINSHADE… Though its a bit pricey… Atleast to me….But it works absolutely, perfectly amazing…So anyone planning to buy sunscreen…. Consult a doctor…

  • I love Cle de Peau cosmetics. Their Radiant Foundation is so perfect for my aging, dry and sensitive skin, their silky lipsticks are divine and O30 works for me in every foundation across their line.

  • You put on too little sunscreen watch Dr dray to see how much and how to apply sunscreen. You shouldnt make a little bit of sunscreen go a long way you should put a lot on and let it absorb and dry

  • Good tip about adding some water after the first time rubbing your face with the balm! For some reason I’ve only been rubbing into my face so it can dissolve my make up and later cleaning it up with a make up wipe. After, I would was my face with my cream cleanser and that was my double cleanse!

  • Susan, I just read an article by this woman named Gio. She wrote how cleansing balms are both oil and water based and hence, it is enough to double cleanse using a cleansing balm alone. But, that is not what you have been saying or anyone else, for that matter. Can you please elaborate??

  • Tammy, maybe I should not say this but after about 4 years of watching YouTubers I’m getting a little tired of makeup videos…..anyway I loved this one today!!! You look soooo good in your hats and shades!! My signature hats are wide brim and sunglasses are Prada’s but after watching you I think I will go shopping and venture out of my comfort zone!

  • The double cleanse is EVERYTHING. I started the double cleansing method when Susan first talked about it in one of her videos and I never went back. thanks susan! You, hyram, & beauty within will always be my fav go-tos for skincare! And all of you are the reason I’m becoming an esthetician

  • Hey Team Glamrs,

I have a doubt.I am new to Skincare in my early 20s, i have combination skin type, my t zone is oily. I do want to start a routine with sunscreen, so the lotus sunscreen does seem like something that i would want to try because of its gel consistency, but since it contains paraben, can i use the neutrogena dry touch?

Will it suit my skin type?
Also, is lotus sunscreen non comedgenic?

Please reply. I really want to know your suggestion.

  • Holy balls, the amount of incorrect information she has given is wild! Please don’t be showing people how to apply sunscreen if you are not well informed/educated on the subject just because it’s “sponsored”. Anyone who knows anything about sun protection would know powder and mists/sprays are the WORSE ways to apply! It MUST be reapplied in the same way it was originally applied every two hours makeup or not.

  • Neutrogena has paraben in it…could you recommend some other sunscreen for oily skin which wont leave white cast and will be matte finish??please

  • Hello! I’m a fan. I’m glad the foundation has titanium dioxide, because most foundations and skincare that have chemical sun protection give me allergies.

  • Those two sheet masks are my FAVORITE. I have eczema and the moisture masks are so soothing in winter. Also love the mandelic acid.

  • I’m 16 yrs old. I have acne prone and combination skin. Can i use lotus sunscreen? How is its application, After moisturiser or can i use without moisturiser?

  • Such a great video, Tammy. I love hats. The glasses you paired with your hats are wonderful. Wishing you a fun and fabulous spring and summer!!!

  • Which is the best sunsreen for kids. My lil one get tanned too much. She does swimming class in the afternoon. Plz suggest any water proof for adults too

  • Michele, I am a new you tube viewer and recent subscriber to your channel. I just want you to know how much I look forward to your informational and engaging videos. You got me through the isolation of covid and I look forward to hearing your voice and watching you nightly. Your videos have become associated with my relaxing evening time. Thank you and I look forward to whatever you do next. I always learn alot.

  • first of all..you should not apply sunscreen after two hours everytime..because you are stepping out from home..and you are facing pollution..so you can’t layer up sunscreen over polluted face..yeah apply sunscreen 20-25 minutes before stepping out

  • My all time favorite is Neutrogena ♥️ I’m definitely gonna try lotus & suncros’s sun screens. Thanks for such a lovely video. Much needed coz summer is here.

  • I just noticed that my oil cleanser has coconut oils in it. Should I be worried about it clogging my pores or is it okay because it is formulated into the product?

  • Oh, noooooo, another Cle de Peau foundation that I NEED! Each year I fall more in love with this brand, specifically their makeup line.

  • Hello Michelle! Thank you for nice recommendations! I am a new subscriber here with sensitive and dry skin, just got rid of perioral dermatitis, which I had for years! I cannot be happier! Now, I am willing to try that blue cream to repair my skin barrier, it sounds very promising. Thank you Michelle, regards from Sweden!

  • Fun fact! You can take any frame you have to your eye doctor and have prescription lenses put in them! I even took my favorite pair of Brighton readers and had my prescription reading lenses put in them. Love them!

  • I have been using a homemade oil blend without an emulsifier for about two years. I use it whenever I feel like having a spa moment, anywhere from once a month to three times a week. It does not emulsify and turn milky when I add water to itI take it off with a warm damp towel, letting the towel rest on my face twice before gently wiping it off. It has been effective at unclogging my pores and also feels really good and relaxing. I haven never tried a store-bought product with an emulsifier because I like knowing exactly what goes into my skincare, and also because most products use olive oil, which the couple of times I have used I really didn’t like. I use a blend of jojoba, olive, castor, rosehip, and avocado oils (again, no emulsifier). I will try to use a store-bought oil cleanser that emulsifies and see if it really does clean more than a homemade one. I haven’t been able to find much information about this question.

  • Tammy. You have got to do a video showing me where you keep all your sunglasses and hats. Might as well do clothing too. . Love you. And kiss my pet-pals.

  • Using almost 0.8 grams of tretinoin (0.05%) every night made me forget my skin has any sensibility at all. I am sorry skin, it is for the best xoxo.
