Summer Babies Grow Into Healthier Adults Children born in summer are more likely to be taller and healthier adults than those born during the winter, a study shows. HealthyWomen Editors. MONDAY, Oct. 12, 2015 (HealthDay News) Children with summer birthdays are more likely to be healthy adults than those born during the winter, a new study contends. There’s more than astrological signs to consider when you’re contemplating a birthdate for your child: New research shows that babies born in summer months grow up to be healthier than other.

A new study in UK suggests that babies who are born in the summer are slightly heavier at birth, taller as adults, and go through puberty slightly later than those born in winter months. A British study indicates that babies born in the summer, particularly girls, will grow up to be healthier than other adults. Researchers at Cambridge University in the UK have turned their attention to a baby’s birth month, which has an influence on weight, as previous studies have shown, but also on the child’s health, particularly in the case of girls, when they start puberty. The results showed that babies born in June, July, and August were heavier at birth and taller as adults.

For the first time, the study also found that girls born in the summer.

Results showed that babies who were born in June, July and August had higher birth weights and were taller as adults, and girls born during these months started puberty later – which is an indicator of better health in adulthood. Babies born in June, July, and August were taller as adults than winter babies, the research showed. Girls born in the summer were more likely to start puberty later, the study said. And, a later puberty has been linked to better adult health, the researchers noted.

Want to have a healthier and taller baby? You may want to aim for having a child in the summer months, a new study shows.

Not surprisingly, researchers have found that children spend more time in vigorous physical activity when they are outdoors, boys engage in more activity than girls, and the amount of physical activity can vary considerably from one preschool to another (Pate, Pfeiffer, Trost, Ziegler, & Dowda, 2004; Tucker, 2008).

  • Even tho am 3 years late but I just wanna say this is the best thing that’s happened to a women having her own kids and this video is to help others prepare for this.

  • My name is Stephanie,I have been married for 10 years now, with no child, gone to different hospitals.taken so many drugs but still no child, then I came across a friend who introduced me to this Doctor(Dr AYO) that I should talk to her, tell her my problems and she willl solve it,my friend told me Dr AYO helped her cure are ulcer (gastric ulcer),so I said will think about it.after discussing with my husband,he agreed to it and I contacted him. • Poor? They have what to eat where to sleep money for transportation even for cigarettes they are not poor they are lazy and trashy without any discipline and control.
If they where going to leave with my parents they where going to have big slaps every day…

  • They all have money for cigarettes. in the US they are so expensive. Why do so many young people in Britain snoke? Smoke when pregnant? Come on use your head. Young kids having kids generation after generation. Stop they cycle. Your goverment gives you too much money. Here we couldn’t live not working. Haven’t these girls heard of birth control? All single young kids geting. pregnant is crazy. What ate they doing to the kids but putting them in their same shoes.

  • They could have let Voldemort as well, come in and then live in “those” to fight those guys or fell for “those” and lost his power..

  • I want to use this means to let the world know that all hope is not lost Getting pregnant after having tubes clamped and burned, I know IVF and Reversal could help but it way too cost, i couldn’t afford it either and i so desire to add another baby to my family been trying for 5 years, not until i came across Dr. Isah Johnson, who cast a pregnancy/Fertility spell for me and i got pregnant.l hope that women out there who are going through the same fears and worries l went through in GETTING PREGNANT, will find your contact as i drop it here on this site, and solution will come to them as they contact you. Thank you and God bless you to reach him email via: [email protected] gmail.com or whatsApp  +2349065613964 contact him too for help and be happy again: he also has the cure to the following sickness:

    1. CANCER

    2. HERPES 1 AND 2

    5. HPV

  • This worked, i watched this video when i was 5’10 ( 1.77m ), im 16, my mom is 5’6 (1.67m) and my dad is 6’0 (1.83m), 3 months later with following his instructions and playing lots of sports, mainly basketball, i am now 6’1 (1.86m) lets see what happens over the next few months

  • Beautiful movie! ❤️ It is worth commemorating these moments in ❤️ Pregnancy Album you can find it on Etsy ❤️. Worth seeing.

  • Fun fact the lady who plays pregnant women here was actually pregnant but in the first months of pregnancy. Like 3-4 month. 1:01 you can see her real pregnant belly I thought it was fake

  • My dads 5’9 and moms 5’4, I was always a short kid growing up. During secondary ( high school), I realised I had an extremely fast metabolism, I was constantly eating and constantly playing football, and literally sleeping 12 hours a day (record was 17 hours lol), there was a few months in year 9 where I swear I was visibly growing by the day. Now I’m 19 and 6’6 and people immediately think my parents are tall but no, was just doing the stuff I previously mentioned.

  • I’m 5’9 and I wanna be 5’10-5’11. I’ll start stretching from today for a month and eat loads of protein and sleep well and we will see my height next year.

  • Shelby is the best one she’s actually trying and is more responsible she’s like can you inagine having a baby at this time “no way”.. She’s trying to get a loan and she works. Amber is trying to be grown up she’s lucky she’s got a mom that helps her but she needs to get a job later on and not be dependent on welfare. Bridies the problem child she’s rebellious and she’s disrespectful she’s got a loser bf and she hangs in the streets with trash. She doesn’t even try to find a job she depends on welfare to live. These 3 stories are just like here at home in America.

  • I’m 17 and only 189cm, I’m hoping I’m able to make 6’6 but I doubt that I still wanna maximise my height before it’s too late. Btw I got scoliosis and had spinal surgery 1 years ago and got 2 rods in my back so my posture is always perfect because I don’t really have a choice:/ but I can do everything still I’m back dunking and in the gym 5 days a week

  • That flat Shelby has reminds me of Trainspotting. It seems like a troubled area and she needs better locks on her door. She’s such a sweet girl.

  • P.O.V: You’re nonbinary and you’re very dysphoric about you height, because you’re barely 5’2, and you’re freaking out because you think you might be done growing, because you’re 13.

  • These young girls didnt have a good start to life and without any good role models it wouldnt be easy to get out of a lifestyle you have been used to since childhood. I do hope there is a follow documentary as I would love to see how Shelby is getting on.

  • I managed to grow 6 cm at 26 years old with 2 training programs, if you are interested, just write a message to my gmail: superandomilimite gmail. com without spaces

  • Out of the 3 girls shelby is the most deserving if you had to pick 1 to help since she’s at least trying to help herself and get a job and live a meaningful life

  • I’m sorry, 55 pounds for 30 hours of work? That’s absolutely mad. That’s unliveable. Did I hear it correctly or am I hallucinating? ( 9:52 )

  • Becoming successful isn’t always about intelligence or opportunity, both a very helpful but I personally believe that the main aspect is motivation, if you’re highly motivated I believe the rest will eventually fall into place, not always but a vast majority of the time it will lead to becoming a successful individual.

  • When are you considered an adult in the UK? I thought it was 18? Shelby is a child that is doing everything she can to grow up fast. Yay for the help she’s gotten but she needs a heck of a lot more help. There’s no way she can ever get ahead if she’s already paying “adult” bills while being seen as a teenager and getting teenager type job positions. She needs like roommates or some sort of living with someone situation. Just some more support.

  • I’m 5’9 maybe 10 but I’m early 20s however have no beard or nothing so is It possible I will grow a beard and height about age 23-24

  • Children are soo precious. WE as a society can do better for our children. It takes a village….Without food clothing, appropriate housing and most importantly Love, how can we expect these teens to thrive in the world. We have to do better

  • to all the mother fuckers talking about the people who complain bout their height over 5’10 nigga this mfs thinking bout sports not normal life shit like iam 14 rn and iam 6’2 but i want to be 6’6 so i could play in the nba as a shooting guard
