when i hear Demi talking about this, for me, say… if i went on to a chat site on the internet where people are sharing experiences etc. People will chat about whats going on for them, like the sensations of how they feel like when they know an attack is coming on, whatever they suffer from, and then its about how it affects them day in day out, and i understand when you are with people who both speak the same language as you all of you can not only understand but these other people can feel for you but sometimes I worry, there is alot of feeling going on which I totaly get but there is not alot of action. There is not alot of solutions. Well meaning people say things to people who have anxiety or bipolar thats just not right. Something like “Oh go for walk…” You might know thats good for you and excerise releases endorphines but you may not feel like sticking a pair of running shoes on when everything is too much effort but i do feel that there should be something out there with practical guidelines to help overcome depression, or how to manage anxiety. So not only does the sufferer know what to do but how to give the right kind of support, because people who care will offer support but its not the right kind of support. As i say, i think there should be something practical, step by step things that you can try or encourage the sufferer to consider, or something like that. It’s being able to manage it and both the sufferer and the family know how to give the right support. I must admit, this is not something i understand and my heart goes towards different types of suffering. I dont like suffering and if i could i’d take it all away… I usually end up despairing because when people tell me they have a problem, i want to be able to help them but with something like bipoliar etc there is no quick fix.
WTG Ms Lovato! It is so refreshing to see someone so famous and admired by todays youth actually speaking up about an issue that matters. A lot of kids today are in real trouble, bullying is running wild and social media seems to make it worse. Kids need help but don’t know where or how to get that help. If your efforts saves even one child it will all have been worth it. Kudos!

It’s high time this country takes mental health more seriously. I know TOO MANY ppl who are sick, and they love it, they wouldn’t have it any other way. When you get diagnosed, the state needs to have a constant, and active role in your mental health. They do entirely too much destruction to everyone around them, and it isn’t fair to the rest of us to put up with that BS. My friend has a brother who is schizophrenic, and the state keeps a very close eye on him to be sure he is taking his meds, bec sick ppl are notorious for stopping their meds as they see fit. Society as a general rule doesn’t really focus on prevention of someone losing their mind, they wait until you commit violence and there is a huge rush to talk about it for a few months, then we go back to square one with blowing it off. That needs to stop, and now. Thank you Demi.
Demi Lovato recently guested Norway and talked about the offers for mental health not being good enough in the states. Well, they are not that much better in Norway either. I’m not going to claim that is the worst, but is certainly far from the best. You’ll have to be real sick to get help and the help you’ll get is limited.
Bi-polar, tragedy and struggle and blah blah Oregon Shooting blah…. WAIT WHAT? Oh I see, they want to say people “diagnosed as mentally ill” can’t own a gun, gotcha. How many of you take pills? Go to the doctor who said there’s something wrong with you? Well, guess you bunch don’t get to defend your families when they kick in the door. Love y’all. Do your research.
Millions of people have some sort of mental issues including depression, ADHD, bipolar, eating disorder, maybe even include dyslexia in that category since they haven’t really specify what Mental health issues really mean. I know a lot of people with these problems and none of them are violent.
What is she trying to tell us here?? She suspecting us that we’re all domestic terrorist and we should be taking drugs to keep us docile?
She is right, more people need to know about mental illness, not just because she has bipolar, personaly i do to, im so glad she has spoke up about this just like she sais she would, im so proud of her… Cant wait to tell her how proud i am of her, mental illnesses are not a joke and just something people deal with.. Thank you demi!
These mental health organizations that are park of Speak Up are pushing pharmaceuticals for Sunovion. These criminals are hiding behind sweet faces like hers. You join then they eventually will recommend drugs to you as “part of your treatment”. I never knew anyone doing well on drugs for depression long term. You just feel euphoric or numb for a while and you have new problems. I’ve seen it ruin people before. Doctors and pharmacists learn from medical schools funded by drug companies. Everyone you meet will have good intentions and believe they are helping you. They cant tell you that it will inevitably cause brain and nerve damage they were not trained to do so. They tell you it helps and give you a list of side effects which are not simply “side effects” they are a list of what will probably happen due to the internal damage you are receiving. A side effect makes it sound like something temporary and a small problem which is not always the case.
I’m such a super fan of Demi I was so excited to watch this because she inspires me so much through my self harm and eating disorder❤️ Thank you Demi ❤️
Honestly the reason I really really like this song is because it makes me EXCITED to love myself and I can’t wait until all of us truly find our own self love and appreciation
This song puts strength on me right now. The lyrics says everything what is going on me right now but I’m still hanging in there and believing that I can still stand after this.
Demi is an incredible woman. I look up to her so much. I also appreciate her involvement for mental illnesses, she definitely use her fame for the right thing.

This is the epitome of Tumblr. Good luck guys, can’t wait for the next decade where everyone is winging about the 30 problems they “suffer” from.

Flipping through all of these magazines
Telling me who I’m supposed to be
Way too good at camouflage
Can’t see what I am
I just see what I’m not
I’m guilty ’bout everything that I eat
(Every single bit)
Feeling myself is a felony
Jedi level sabotage
Voices in my head make up my entourage
‘Cause I’m a black belt when I’m beating up on myself
But I’m an expert at giving love to somebody else
I, me, myself and
I, don’t see eye to
Eye, me, myself and
I
Oh, why do I compare myself to everyone?
And I always got my finger on the self destruct
I wonder when I love me is enough (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I wonder when I love me is enough (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Why am I always looking for a ride or die?
‘Cause mine’s the only heart I’m gonna have for life
After all the times I went and fucked it up
(All the times I went and fucked it up)
I wonder when I love me is enough (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
I wonder when I love me is enough
I wonder when I love me is enough
Haters that live on the internet
Live in my head, should be paying rent
I’m way too good at listening
All these comments fucking up my energy
‘Cause I’m a black belt when I’m beating up on myself
But I’m an expert at giving love to somebody else
I, me, myself and
I, don’t see eye to
Eye, me, myself and
I
Oh, why do I compare myself to everyone?

(All the times I went and fucked it up)
I wonder when I love me is enough (is enough)
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
I wonder when I love me is enough
I wonder when I love me is enough
I’m my own worst critic
Talk a whole lot of shit
But I’m a ten out of ten
Even when I forget
I-I-I-I
(I’m a ten out of ten, don’t you ever forget it)
I’m my own worst critic
Talk a whole lot of shit
But I’m a ten out of ten
Even when I forget
I-I-I-I
