  • why do you use all these canned/pre cut veges, they add so much shit to them that isn’t good for you. Takes like 10 seconds to cut up a chili and some garlic.

  • I like this guy because he cooks like my nan cooked, like how real people cook when they got a family to feed and they’re not trying to be fancy

  • That chili don’t look good at all and way to light! Better get some chili beans(in the sauce) and add more chili powder, butter(gt has no fat or flavor),ketchup,a sprinkle of sugar and a sprinkle more of seasonings! Lmao

  • I made this today for dinner Laura I must say it was delicious. I used home cooked Kidney beans instead they worked perfect. I will never go back to the can junk. Thank you Laura:)

  • Thank You Laura!  I have always said green peppers are NOT GOOD.  Red peppers are my preference because they have good flavor and cook up sweet and delicious.  I now feel like my opinion has been reaffirmed!  Thanks again Laura!

  • I just made this and its so good….I admit I was iffy about corn n brown sugar but it is such a nice surprise that I like it….alot actually…thanx:)

  • Garlic and I started out friends, but then garlic got on the sauces and started hanging out in the oven too much and…. Well it was over for us.

  • add a scoop of whey chocolate protein and a little bit of pumpkin pie spice to make a Cincinnati chili, sounds strange but it works and it a good reason to add some more protein to it.

  • I am in a total Chili mood right now.. Who wants some??

    Turkey Chili Recipe >>

  • What I love so much about this recipe is that it’s an average joe’s chilli. He’s literally using canned goods, instead of some fancy schmancy dry-aged turkey or some weird horticulture grown beans.

  • I just made this and its so good….I admit I was iffy about corn n brown sugar but it is such a nice surprise that I like it….alot actually…thanx:)

  • Oh my goodness!!!!! This was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD SAZAN! I made it today and my husband and I loved every bite! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Laura I made this and it was wonderful. I’m on a special diet so I did omit the sugar and corn. But you are so right the red bell peppers were wonderful. thanks a bunch.

  • White American cheese mixed in and light sour cream. Makes an awesome chip dip if you make the chili less wet by simmering it longer.

  • Beautiful. Us Mexicans don’t really like to compliment foreign food (and less coming from Americans), but this one is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you man!

  • Great recipe!! You can also brown the turkey & throw everything in the slow cooker on low for the day, especially if you’re doubling the batch. Sour cream & cheese is the best topping for me.

  • Hey I’m planning on make this on the upcoming weekend.

I’ve recently been sucked into bad habits by eating mostly cookies and other snack cakes. I feel like absolute garbage. I can’t wait to get back to the gym.

  • Just made this shit, with my own twist of course, but I’ve got to say, Mayhem is the G.O.A.T. when it comes to Chili. Never knew I needed that cilantro and lemon juice until I took a hit of this goodness. God bless you sir.

  • what would happen if I only consumed this? I’m a bit lazy in the kitchen and could care less if its the same meal over and over. I would eat this 4 times a day every day for the next 2 months while bulking. Would this be okay?

  • your option but you could always drain off the fat after meat cooks down……..I love chili…….making some today…….thank yu

  • Really nicely done Shelley! I’ve been looking at a lot of videos lately, wanting to do my own. I think the productions values here are great. Well done!

  • Laura! I made these tonight for my family for dinner and it came out SOOO delicious. It felt very light and healthy. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!:) Congratulations by the way.

  • Real disappointed in munchies for butchering the recipe on the site.. Yea, same ingredients, but did you not pay attention to his cooking order? That can make or break a dish. Maybe he wrote it himself idk lol

  • Hey man thank you for posting this recipe. I eat Turkey Chili from the Muscle Maker Grill and I was searching for something just like this to cook at home. I plan on preparing this as a meal over a bed of lettuce. Thanks again!

  • Made this last night. doubled the recipe and made a mess, lol Made a huge bowl of it. Just needs a little salt to taste. Derek why do you try to use low sodium products?   Also more bulk recipes please. It would help us, who mas cook boring chicken and broccoli every week.

  • I don’t ever use store bought chili seasoning. I always use a bunch of hot sauces, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and A1 steak sauce and honey and some other “secret” seasonings lol. I know it’s probably not great for you but it’s damn good.

  • Up until last week, my “healthy” meals always consisted of plain ground beef w/ canned vegetables and plain cooked chicken breast with brocolli and carrots. My marriage was tetter tottering on the edge because I wasn’t being considerate of my wife’s taste buds. I came across your super easy slow cooker meals and started adding them to my arsenal. Now my wife is happy, my family is back in order. Thank you kind sir you saved my marriage.:)

  • I used to love garlic then over night it just starting tasting bad to me. I don’t know if it’s me, or the garlic I was using or what… But I just got to where it made me sick… It was odd how fast it happened.

  • Only a sweet person could own a dog like Amigo. Can you imagine Hitler with a dog like Amigo?  He would have remained an artist and we could have skipped the whole Holocaust nightmare thing.  They say you can tell a lot about a man by the shoes he wears, I think you can tell so much more by the dog a man shares his life with.  Beefcake is clearly a saintly dork.  Sigh….so dreamy.

  • I think cheese is the standard topping for chili. It’s kind of hard to think outside of the box on that when people are using chili as a topping for meals. Chili dogs, chili fries, chili burgers… I’m going to roam the comments to see what people say.

  • Just made you recipe for a my post work out meal for the week, it tasted great! The only difference is that I seasoned the turkey with onion powder and oregano, and aded some hot chili seasoning. Also next time, I think I will put less water so it all fits in the pot.

  • I’ve been a sub for a long time and not only is it your recipes and simplicity of them that keep me coming back for more. But, how in the description you put all the ingredients weighed out and then you do the calories..
That small thing is what has you way ahead of the pack. I get so tired of watching a video and the host saying “add 2 scoops of protein or 1 can of tomatoes”..
Well my scooper is normally not the same size as yours and I can’t tell the size of can you’re using!
Lol Thank you very much for everything you do! =p

  • P.S: I make the same bread ( yours) every day, just want some change, and I also don,t want to buy bread anymore because it,s so much better…baguette, please…..;-*

  • I love these little cooking videos because I’m a mom on the go and I don’t have hours to stand over a stove and cook. So thanks:) keep it up.
