And yes you can use beef if you wish, it turns out just as delicious.:-). What you’ll need: 1 lb (450g) ground turkey (stay away from the rolls). 2/3 c. (80g) dry breadcrumbs (or use crushed crackers, croutons, stuffing mix, etc). 2 Tbsp dried minced onion (or 1/2 small onion, minced). 3/4 c. (180ml) milk. 1 egg, beaten. 1 tsp soy sauce. 1/2 tsp seasoned pepper (such as Lawry’s). black pepper to taste. In a large bowl, fold ingredients together just until the mixture is combined. Place onto a foil lined cookie sheet and pat out into a rectangle about 1 1/2″ thick, leaving a shallow ditch in the center for the sauce.. For the sauce: 1/3 c. (80g) ketchup. 2 Tbsp brown sugar. 1 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard. Mix together and spread evenly on top of the meatloaf.. Bake the meatloaf in a preheated 350*F oven (175*C) for 40-45 minutes or until the internal temperature is 160*F (70*C) or the juices run clear. Very nice. I didn’t have any brown sugar so I improvised. I made a hummus based sauce with A1 steak sauce, deli mustard and a scintilla of worschester sauce. Delish.
My only difference was I tossed in a pkg of Onion Soup Mix. I did get a little moisture on top that watered down the glaze a little bit, not much. But yum. It was flavorful and moist. Tasted just like a meatloaf should. Thank You.

I made this recipe last night and it was to die for. I followed all ingredients but changed the soy sauce for worchestire sauce and used 1%milk. I also added chopped onions and green pepper. My boyfriend absolutely loved this recipe. We had left overs today and I already can’t wait to make it again! Thanks so much, this was great

Okay…….>I’m a staunch “beef” meatloaf guy…but………I am going to go out on a limb here and make your re recipe tonight to prove to myself I can change my ways (& eating habits).
