I’m not fond of New Year’s Resolutions with their arbitrary start date of January 1, so I decided to begin my change that day by exercising for 30 minutes at home.

The New Year seemed as good a time as any to make resolutions for the future, so, while I waited for the bread to rise, I got out my journal and wrote down my “10 New Year’s Resolutions”:

  • It amazes me everytime!
I have rusty towel racks and stuff… But I’m like… SO not at a point yet where that is my obvi next to do! Theres SO much that has to be done before I’ll get to that… But I have Hope.
Let the sparking of Joy Begin!
    Konmarieing in 2020!

  • I do my spices alphabetically too. Definitely easier. Who wants to browse through your entire spice collection if you could jump to “C”?

  • Love the organising and reset videos, they really motivate to actually get stuff done! The spices look so perfect, where did you find the jars they are in?

  • I am with you with the sleep! I am going to make sure I go to bed earlier. Waking up at 5 is the only way to get things done and get some time before my daughter is awake so if i do nothing else but sleep more consistently, it will be a huge step. Also, weekly checkin with my husband on money. That one is hard because i need to convince him it’s important but I know it will be worth it if he and I are more clearly in sync. Thanks for this video! I love the reset in the fall to make it easier to get my mind right for the new year!

  • This video started out with a stab in the back as I am currently staying up way later than I need to. I don’t budget despite all the financial help YT’ers I follow. I do not exercise. I do invest so I’m good there. Life review… I do it all the time to see where I am, where I’ve been, and where do I want to go or think that I will end up. I’m always in “me time”. Something new… It’s been handled.

  • Just found you and loved this video!! I’m 43 and I still need to remind myself to do these little things to take care of myself. Thanks!! Annie

  • 20:55 Where is the scientific evidence that fat cells can change your short term thinking patterns in order to survive? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • I have been wanting to organize my new flat during the holidays, starting tomorrow. So going to watch this video first thing in the morning!

  • Put a piece of clear packing tape over the labels on your spice jars and the writing wont fade as easy and be wipeable as well.:)

  • Girl I love u and that’s exactly what I needed…. Also you somehow remind me of Hwasa from MAMAMOO idk why but something about your aura or vibe or just your confidence

  • These tips are so on point! Thanks for sharing.
Some of them I already incorporate in my daily routine and I can say for sure that they work!

  • 6:40 I follow the 20/20 rule when it comes to keeping items “just in case”

The Minimalists wrote, “Anything we get rid of that we truly need, we can replace for less than $20 in less than 20 minutes from our current location.”

I’ve rarely missed any of the items I thought I “needed”, most of the time I forgot I even had them and decluttered them anyway! decluttering is definitely a process but it’ll become easier to let go as time goes on

  • I love watching closet declutter videos…i used to hoard my stuff but since 1 year ago I’ve decluttereed so much and I enjoy the process. It feels so nice after. Plus donation is a good cause soo win win
