  • I’m just off HRT for endometrial hyperplasia. I started my cycle with some spotting on Thursday, and I am bleeding like a neck wound today. It’s AWFUL. The heavy often lasts at least 9 days, and then the light for another 7 days and then I get spotting for a while longer. I am due in for the DEPO shot or an IUD in Friday. My gynecologist will help me decide. I’m 25 BTW.

You need to see your own gynecologist if you’re having issues with your period, not listen to this random guy. Oh, and the methods such as sucking on lemon and downing gelatin may help a little, but they won’t get rid of the bleeding. Trust me, I tried it and was still bleeding after each time so MEH, if your BF or whatever is scared of a little blood, you’ll still have to wait.
