On average, one serving of matcha tea is the same as 10 cups of regular green tea. That means you get 137x the number of antioxidants per cup. As would be expected, the health benefits are vast.

  • I love matcha! I’ve tried a bunch of kinds in stores but usually just prefer to order on amazon since it’s so convenient. I like MatchaDNA brand the best. The powder is really good in smoothies or protein shakes too.

  • Japanese people especially the older generation still practice drinking either matcha tea or green tea ( loose leaves). Their country has more centurions compared to other countries. Many Japanese people attribute their good health, low obesity rates and longevity to drinking green tea and healthy Japanese diet.

Dr. Nick it’s my first time to drink matcha green tea today (1 teaspoon of matcha in a cup of water) I got panic because after an hour of consumption I got a negative reaction my face became reddish, my ears and neck and it became itchy so I took Zyrtec and a spoonful of white sugar and after half an hour I became better. I am a healthy person and I don’t have any allergies to any food and this surprise me and it scares me of course. Does anyone experience this?
