  • This video couldn’t have come at a better time. Here in Melbourne I started term four and yesterday I woke up and instantly felt a pit in my stomach of anxiety and stress for school. Thank you so much Jess! I can’t even tell you how much your videos inspire me!!

  • My top de-stressing method to get you out of distress is to watch the ellen degeneres showit’s always so funny and filled with positive vibes that i feel so much better after watching clips of it! Other methods could be a good sleep and some me-time away from everyone else. Talk to them when you feel more balanced in terms of emotions so you won’t risk lashing out your unhappiness or irritability on innocent members of your family and friends.

  • Another tip that I use when I am stressed is to write everything that making you stressed and then read it and slowly analyse everything sometimes you are stressing about little thing that doesn’t matter but you can’t stop thinking about it but when you write it your thoughts are in front of you and which help you de-stress

  • I happened to tell this story to one of my colleagues. He is an ardent follower of popular Buddhism ( not of what Buddha truly taught) His sole reply when I was done with the story of the two monks was, ” oh! Anyway Monks cannot touch women right! It had been the teaching ever since”! And he brought in several suttas and Vinaya pitaka (teachings on discipline) to prove his point. I was just dumbfounded that even a 5year old could have got the moral of the story! To the day, I am embarrassed that I happened to tell this deep story to such narrow minded person.
