  • Everything you’ve said is just a perfect summary of being in your 40’s. I do miss being pretty & thin, though!! 😉 At least my child LOVES the large pillow he gave me for a stomach!!!!:D When I said I wanted to lose weight he asked, quite genuinely concerned, ”But where will my big pillow go?!!”

  • Good advice. BTW I just turned nifty fifty. Most resonated when you talked about checking out who your friends are. As you say, it may not be easy but when you know……………..YOU KNOW who to gently let go of. Problem is, THEY also realise you’ve seen the light. If you are lucky they’ll acknowledge, but if not, then pestering may occur (narc much?) but just stick to your plans and they’ll soon back off. Very liberating to realise you are your own best friend in the end.

  • Raw Organic Cacao is one of the highest plant-based sources of magnesium, the most deficient mineral in the Western world. I checked the labels on 5 different Raw Cacao brands and NONE of them lists magnesium, but when I googled it, it’s true that it’s a great source of magnesium. It’s just not added to the product, so it’s not listed. See the Dr’s comment at 12:35 minutes into the video.

  • Seriously? You don’t have a single wrinkle. I appreciate your vid tho. I’m 45 and most of what you’ve said is true. I wish it wasn’t so hard to stay in shape at this age. We can no longer eat whatever we want nor can we lose the weight as quickly. I am more confident now than I ever have been in my life but my body is less flattering than ever. Yes…about the glasses-No fun. Applaud on how others perceive you. Don’t care. And I miss out on less as I’m not as concerned.:)

  • Turning 40 was such a mental shift for me. In a good way though! No more accepting BS. Feeling like I was stepping into myself. Thanks for a great video.

  • Doc you are glowing today. Muscle tone is there as well.great detail. Confirms my knowledge base and more. I appreciate your commitment to us.

  • Guys. get laid by hot girl does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I will give you some tips now. Look for a popular dating course called Troplusfix Dating Secrets (search on google). Thanks to it I’ve totally get rid of my shyness, and finally get laid with my crush. I shouldn’t even be speaking about it cause I don’t really want a lot of other guys out there running exactly the same game but whatever. I’m just simply in a great mood today and so I will share the wealth lol.

  • I’m a 29 year old and I feel like 40 something women are just amazing and confident. Btw you’re so gorgeous, you look like Margot Robbie

  • I feel like I’ve earned my serenity. I just turned 46 yesterday. My son is in college and almost 21. I feel like I need to protect my serenity that I’ve earned by keeping the emotional vampires away….be around positive people. I’m not interested in drama and I’m seriously very interested in peace! I felt liberated after turning 40. I stopped caring about what others thought and cared about what I thought! I woke up yesterday at 46 with peace, contentment and with less to prove. The body works, I’m healthy, I work out 3 days a week, make decent money, have healthy and thriving kids… I’m just ready to keep my peace and calm. I feel calm.

  • Green tea boosts blood pressure though and most over 50s are on bp meds…i have a stent but heart is fine,im overweight and lazy..ironically i work in a gym..motovation is what i need.i dont even drink or smoke but my bodt aches all the time and im a bit listless..Your chanel is awesome and appreciated though..Thank You Billy Carr

  • Has anyone tried Troplusfix Dating Secrets? (do a search on google) I have heard many awesome things about this popular dating secrets.

  • Oh Erin!! I spent the whole time watching your fabulous blog thinking: “OMG!! That is SO TRUE!!” I remember when I was in my 20’s, I used to laugh when people say “Life begins at 40”, because I just thought that 40 year olds were just miserable that they were so old and wanted to still be in their 20’s!! But now I laugh at that sort of thinking because life DOES begin at 40!!! You KNOW so much more about what life is all about! I look back at people in their 20’s now & laugh as I think: “You have NO IDEA!!” So yes, now I understand why older people are happier! Thank you so much for your fabulous blogs!

  • Watching your video tonight had me laughing because you are hitting everything about being 40 or over. I’ve had a year of being sick and body changes and emotional ups and downs that…some people have hurt me emotionally with lack of support past years. After my total hysterectomy surgery cancer free….I’m coming into my own self and learning to stop being too supportive too concerned and pull back on people who doesn’t give a damn about who i am and can’t celebrate me like I celebrate them. I’m learning now to celebrate myself and plan to live life happily and travel more for me and implement more self care. This message confirmed it for me I’ll be 42 next month and I’m blessed to see another year thank you for the video

  • You are beautiful with wrinkles or not. You kind of look like Heather Graham. I have to agree with you. I am 36 and almost 37 and I was panicking when I noticed them at 35. But….whats the point about obsessing? You are right life is supposed to be more than that. I have spent tons of money trying to reverse it and nothing happened. So…I will accept the things I can’t change, but just try to be positive and improve it. That is the best we can do. To be honest though, I could care less about what people think about the way I dress. SO…..I will continue to wear my styles and not worry about it, but if it makes someone else feel better that’s cool. I don’t dress overly revealing anyway. Different strokes for different folks.I get tired of men getting wrinkles and being considered more attractive and sexy, but when women get them, there is more panic. Maybe it is just society not sure. You know all of us show signs of being on this planet longer male and female. It just happens, and it shouldn’t be a big deal. Thanks

  • The advice is all good. But I am not a father. And I am agnostic. So why did I click on the video? The advice. I can learn from your videos and skip the father/God and group thing.

  • I’m 42 and my fiancé is 36, that part about not sweating the small things. So true, she worries about everything, I don’t worry enough.

  • Guys. get laid by hot women doesn’t need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’m going to give you some tips now. Get a popular dating secrets called Troplusfix Dating Secrets (google it). Thanks to it I have completely get rid of my shyness, and finally get laid with my crush. • You aree such a beautiful soul ♥️ thank you for spreading love and reassurance felt every single word you was saying and it clearly shows you come out the other side and doing something positive with it..if you know what i mean ♥️god bless youuu xxxx

  • Turning 40 was absolute hell for me!
I feel like I got by on my looks for the majority of my life so turning 40 made me feel so lost. Also because I’m no where near where I’d thought/hoped to be in life.
I don’t have kids & gaining weight has always been an issue. My body really does look the same as it did in my teens, twenties & thirties but it’s the changes in my face that make me crazy. I know alot of 20/30 yr olds that tell me they don’t think of me as “that old” but I know I am & it scares the hell out of me! They can’t understand that no matter how “good” you look for your age the world just puts women in a different category after 40.
I’ve never pictured myself getting older (seriously for some reason I always thought I’d die young, why I don’t know) I’ll be 43 soon & even writing that number blows my mind! I don’t know where the past 20 years went!

  • I have a sedentary job/career. I walk every other day, hike on the weekends, do 100 pushups every other day and just started squats. By no means perfect but it works for me.

  • “Eat your vegetables” “Drink more water” “Exercise”…Dah! Haha..too funny. Thanks for this great video. I love the prayer element to this video! I like that projection of both physical and spiritual health! Love the green tea also. God Bless!

  • Thank you for this video for people like me who doesn’t have a mother or sister who care about this advices I’m 41 and I found a difference now since I always wear glasses now I need less sightseeing vision that’s crazy I was wearing 3.75 and now my glasses are 1.75 huge difference and I don’t know why, but I’m glad!

  • You guys act so old. I’m 39 and feel 25. Be like Jlo or Halle berry keep enjoying life and rock that mini skirt and take care of yourself.

  • I know a guy who is old, but he ain’t that old, but he seems older by pointing out all of these oldass relics that are his friends. Don’t nobody care how many Grandmothers and Great Grandfathers who are down with you. You only 55. That ain’t impressive. In fact you lose people with all of that. When all you talk about is the class of 85, all people hear is Old, I’m old. Get old. Don’t nobody wanna hear about how things were better during the Cuban Missile Crisis and how gas prices of 1979 were high, but not that high. Do like me. Round your graduation date up to the latest century. I graduated in 2000. When you see an oldass classmate, walk the other way like you don’t see them and say hello to their children like yall are contemporaries. That’s your father? Nah, I don’t know that oldass muthafxxxxxx. When they make old references I don’t comprende until they get new. Columbo? Columb who? Hmm? Oh The Mentalist…that’s my dude.
And finally, never admit to old man diseases like backaches or getting exhausted. I stopped after the 5th pick up game. I WASN’T EXHAUSTED. I GOT BORED!!!!”

  • Oh gosh what a stressful video. Age is just a number. I met 50 years old who still act like 12 years old. Live your life. Enjoy and dress up the way you want

  • Younger people are more beautiful than older people, that’s just a fact of life. Why must anyone insist on being beautiful-when that ship has clearly sailed.

  • Thank you for this. Tomorrow i’m turning 42. Learning from the other fourties’ perspectives and making my own thoughts of my own understanding of my own journey so far.

  • What is the best way to completely get rid of my shyness, and finally escaping the friendzone? I read plenty of superb reviews on the net about how exactly Troplusfix Dating Secrets can assist you become badass with women. Has anybody tried using this popular dating manual?

  • People act like 40 is old & it isn’t. I’m 32 & look at people in their 40s as young. Old to me is 60 & older. The only alternative to growing old is dying Young.

  • I cant join in the conversation, Im only 14, butt Im sure she knows wot she’s talking about since wisdom comes with age…according 2 people over 40…

  • Poor poor women! They change every year and the change massively every decade. Men never change or if they do, they don’t realize it. And beside the physical change, there is psychological change which are even more impacting. They need good men to support them in those changes and good men are everywhere. However, women’s expectation is such they never find these good men for support. So they suffer all those changes alone.

  • Dr. Balduzzi, can you comment on why we should be taking DHEA? We ( I am sure not the only one here) have heard some negative stuff about it.

  • You missed so much stuff, maybe you should make this video again when you’re in your late 40s. Or you’re being dishonest by leaving out the shittier parts of being 40+. Yes, there are a few perks, but there’s a ton of crap too. Honestly, I HATE being in my late 40s though I wouldn’t want to be in my 20s and younger either. I do not want to know what being 50+ is like, no matter how “great” a handful of women say it is. BE F*CKING HONEST!

  • Dr. Balduzzi, what can you tell us about he report from the Mayo Clinic and the negative effects of DHEA? What are the side effects of DHEA?
DHEA is a hormone. It might increase levels of androgen and have a steroid effect. The long-term safety of DHEA use hasn’t been established. There are concerns that using DHEA as a supplement might increase the risk of hormone-sensitive cancers, including prostate, breast and ovarian cancers. The National Collegiate Athletic Association has banned DHEA use among athletes.

    DHEA has been linked to:

Reduced high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or “good,” cholesterol levels
Unwanted, male-pattern hair growth in women (hirsutism)
    Mania and heart palpitations
    Oily skin
Supplements such as DHEA can also cause serious adverse effects when mixed with prescription or nonprescription drugs.

What do you tell people who want to try DHEA?
DHEA supplementation doesn’t have proven benefits in older adults and might cause adverse side effects.

If you’re looking for ways to promote healthy aging, remember that there’s no substitute for a healthy lifestyle.

  • I turned 40 earlier this month and I was t worried about it. No anxiety about it at all. It’s just a number! Didn’t even have a party which was expected of me. Just wanted to chill with my family. Feel pretty much like I did in my 30s. It’s not a big deal.

  • I subscribed. Looks like one of the best channels on youtube. Thanks doc. I guess there’s paid product there somewhere, but your helpful info shows goodwill. No idea what DHEA is tho or why use it.

  • Do natural popular dating course like Troplusfix Dating Secrets really work and if so, how effective are they? I have noticed several amazing things about this popular dating manual.
