  • Love this girl, keep coming back for more in 2020. Sangin Etta 8months pregos and doing it effortlessly, wow awesome. Good luck to you and the Bubba

  • She needs (double underline) to audition again for Season 19. I really think with the extra year of working through the nerves she could easily be a finalist.

  • I love how every 99% of the comments here are all about her pregnancy and personal decisions in life… Like JFC, can you all stop being drama fed mouth breathers instead for one second of your lives and just appreciate how entirely astounding her vocal range and control were despite her extreme nervousness..

  • And to help keep your distance, used Katy’s disguiser, American Idol Hand Sanitizer. it smooths on and you rub it on two hand, fingers wash on many sides and lather and to keep it from your face and relatives until the pandemic is over in may 31 incalifornia and ours on May 11th. So smooth, you don’t touch other till May 10th. American Idol hand sanitizer. Like Katy Perry put it. Stay Safe before you go and see them. This is American Idol at home coast to coast.

  • I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant and about to start my masters program. I am not with the baby’s father and I really don’t know what to do. I really do need advice. In my heart I want to keep my baby but at the same time I don’t want to deal with my baby’s father (emotional and verbal abuse )

  • Loved this. I’ve played it over and over. Just love it! So sad she didn’t make it through to top 20, but I sincerely hope I see her next time around. She has a whole year to get even better. If you read this, Amber, maybe just work on your breath control, and stick to these timeless songs that show of your beautifully contrasting high and low ranges and emotional expression of what you’re singing. Please don’t give up. I want to hear more. Btw, your voice reminds me a lot of Frankie Valli’s daughter, Francine.

  • Just love her sound! So classic. He was right, it’s timeless. I love that she went in soft and let her power come slowly throughout the song

  • I’m really sad in a way because she didn’t make it through top 20 not because she’s not good enough, but her song choice really didn’t made it right.

  • If i was her daughter i may hate her for that, even if she will say its for my best!

Its not fair to bring a child to life and then ask someone else to be their parent… the kid will feel abandoned no matter how his new parent will be.. and will feel different than the other normal kids who are living with their own parents..

Plus, you dont know how will the new family treat the kid later on in his life:)

Im really sorry to see her cheered up, while she will do that to her child.

I hope she will change her mind

  • This broke my heart and was pulling for someone to say, “what do you need to keep your baby?” But it sounds like she’s already made her decision… sad and happy at the same time. I hope she goes far in the competition, she has a great voice.

  • Such a hard decision to make. Even when the pregnancy was not wanted, once you hear the heartbeat, feel the first kick, you naturally start to feel love for that little being. She’s doing good by helping another family have a child and continuing to be in her daughters life ❤️

  • She could easily be a superstar with that voice! wow. She is such a talent. Hope she will get a good life, she is so sweet. Good luck.

  • Unnecessary drug use will ruin generations. She has selflessly block the curse and ensure the next one will get the chance she didn’t. T_T

  • If she is not ready to be a mom…why would she be ready to start her own dreams? Crazy how we can be so self centered. She can now start a life with her mom but be there for her daughter when she feels that she has time. Thats not in the description of a parent. Can’t she see what it did to her? Drank her problems away…slept to find false acceptance. Yeah we should glorify her and teach all other little girls that “All your dreams can come true if you give up on your family.”

    Great job American Idol…‍♂️

  • She is so strong!! She chose life, didn’t give up, and is doing what’s best for others and the baby❤️ I hope one day the little girl sees this and sees a glimpse of how much her birth mom truly loves her
