  • Fun fact:confirmed by Microsoft they used that scary alien recordings from these nasa Apollo communications to make the original Xbox sound like it came from another planet

  • That is not the moon and three men were paid very very handsomely to
Keep the dream for mankind, just my thoughts, however if my thoughts
Are wrong and I have gotten lost alone the way, I would say those are the most
Amazing three men that will ever have been known to all mankind.

  • 44:50 How they travel 15000fps in space if earths escape velocity is 37000fps. Why would they slown down just 1/13 of the way to the moon?

  • @ 4:17 says “I cant believe you waited this long” along with ” @ 7:02 “there calling there calling from …….”  @ 7:10 “this wont do” @ 7:16 “this is what will happen” @ 7:34 “we are aware of that” @ 8:21 “I feel…….”  @ 8:26 “transport” @ 12:12 “how long was I suppose to” @ 12:17 “I told you I can see them” @ 12:21 “how close do I continue” “get back” @ 14:15 when you hear stage of the Saturn “please don’t go” background

  • my heros…. I like to see a Hollywood producer director write script what are this type of communication. It would royally screwed up.

  • My first exposure to fortnite was this mode and its pretty entertaining watching a royale player struggle to understand everything about what used to be the base game.

  • I LOVE hearing all that music from Ace Combat 6!!!! I’ve always been I
Pressed with how well Ace Combat music sets the tone for a mission.

MAN Ace Combat 6 is AMAZING

  • @mazzy22andringolover-GO FOR IT!!!! You can do whatever you put your mind to! I’d love to be an astronaut but go scared after the Challenger incident. I wish I’d never given up my dream. But if they had a teacher in space program again…I’d apply!

  • i was listening to some music by Jake Chudnow and someone in the comments recommended i put this on over some music and its probably the coolest thing ive ever done with youtube so far. Technology is great, and we as humans are fantastic in our own little way. Well done NASA team for accomplishing the impossible! In only we 150 years we have gone from pulling oil out from the ground and building large machines during the industrial revolution, to developing machines that can calculate things for us and take us to the one celestial body we have looked at for over 200,000 years. We are just taking baby steps into the cosmos, and hopefully within the next decade we will land on another planet for the first time. The probe that just landed there will give us more.. pardon the pun but i mean you guys clearly did it on purpose, “InSight” into what more secrets our red neighbor has.

  • 30:30 A common error called “Target Fixation”.
So intent on getting your target you don’t watch your altitude for proper dive pullout.

  • @mazzy22andringolover You’re only 11 years old…
Maybe you’ll be on the first Mission to Mars. Now, there’s something worth the wait.

  • Ok hi ova so is do if so is DJ is DJ is Di us DJ uncle DJ us DJ us DJ TV DJ V hi us DJ thx do icons eh josh idk ice as CNN discount TV if V off 12:34

  • Thanks, your mission was inspiring, remembering mission preached by redemptorists priests when in school, now in Australia. God bless your work

  • Very good very enriching in these days of trial. At least through media conducting the MISSION.GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR THE WORD OF GOD.

  • Thank you for making us feel connected even though we are far away. God bless you all for the good work and looking forward to being back soon.

  • God, I am so young but I love the old footage and audio, it marks the trademark of mankind’s biggest step; to step foot on the moon.
“I believe that this nation should commit itself; to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth.”

  • long live you tube. i never find my way on nasa.gov there is to much info and before i know i find myself reading/watching stuff that i wasn’t looking for thats equally interesting.

  • Thank you Fr. Juvy for this Lenten recollection, very timely considering the times we’re in. In particular liked that Jesus is calling us to come out of our pettiness, indifference, vices. Gives us Hope

  • @Brommes
yeah but sometimes you don’t have that much time.
so it would be better if you land right on what you originally were looking for

  • I am grateful to the organisers of this great initiative, which has given many like me an opportunity to partake of the Lord’s Supper, albeit spiritually. I would like to know how to support this mission.

  • Thank you Fathers. It was great to hear a Redemptorist mission after years from Karachi. It brought back memories of my association with the Redemptorists in Bangalore since the 80’s.

  • Zach Scott can you please help me do this because I amIs at 0% and now it’s at I don’t know percent but now I think that 100% but it won’t work

  • The South African airforce used Mirages. If im not mistaken they developed the helmet mounted sight also. Our military was ranked among the top 10 in the world during the Angolan war. Our forces fought the Cubans and Russians and we still beat them thanks to units like Koevoet and Recce’s.

  • Thank you for enabling this mission online even though I cannot be with you live I have watched it after I finish work. God bless you all.

  • in bomber role the mirage would come in low and then before the target climb steeply and lob the bomb onto target serious balls…..there’s case of a bucaneer expending all it ordanence in group troop support, but a tank was still approaching the troops, so they went on a combat run with nothing to shoot at the tank… luckily they got scared and bugged out… pilot was awarded a medal for his actions

  • Dream you should speed run Minecraft like 5 times in a row and find the average time for a random world without finding a good seed

  • AMERICANS EAT LOADS so if they flew a space rocket to the moon…..rite….how come all the burgers and stuff didnt just fly off into space like to Mars or Pluto? Wise up it didnt happen. S Kubrick…..

  • Can you please friend me I really want to play save the world my username is whiskers111111 please I’m gonna get it for Christmas but that’s a long time
    T

  • AMERICANS EAT LOADS so if they flew a space rocket to the moon…..rite….how come all the burgers and stuff didnt just fly off into space like to Mars or Pluto? Wise up it didnt happen. S Kubrick…..

  • Thank you FrsJuvy, Joseph & Charles, for this telecast, esp when we’ve missed our usual Sunday mass, Your explanation of the meaning “Remove the stone,” applies very aptly to our lives. A change in this time of lockdown, is evident all around the world.A blessing in disguise, as Jesus acts in his time. Hallelujah.

  • In 30:08 30:18 seconds,
    oh my god!
This Mirage 2000C’s pilot insufficient strain!
So, he is fast crash to the enemy air force base………………..

    And 31:59 32:21 seconds,
after the Mi-24’s propeller was hit by the F-5E,
actually only Mi-24 can fly smoothly and unharmed,
    F-5E crashed directly…………………
    Is this too unreasonable!

  • I was 10 years old when Apollo 11 landed on the moon.
Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins are my heroes.
What a magnificent time in history.

  • Welcome back to Space, Discovery for the last time. Look after your veteran crew. Also, welcome to Space Robonaut 2. Science fiction becomes science fact.

  • did anyone else get chills when they opened the payload bay doors? its the same with the cupola….. watching the world fly by like that… makes you realize how tiny we actually are, and how amazing of a feat putting man into space really is. Just amazing. Thankyou discovery for all the wonderful years!

  • it’s amazing how youtube consists of so many silly videos that garners millions of views, while a video like this, one that documents the very best achievements of mankind, barely gets any views. i fear for the future of this planet.

  • We appreciated the beautiful Mission day Masses and all programs please try to continue with the daily Masses and talks to keep us in prayer for all people who are in isolation and others sufferings with the corona virus. May God bless you always. Thank you so much.

  • Thanks and praise God…..our mother Mary intercession and given us priest like you and all priest over the world….May Almighty father bless you’ll abundantly and your family always…

  • In 2016 my robotics teammates and I was fortunate enough to meet Colonel Benjamin Alvin Drew. He was one of the astronauts who travelled on this mission. He was kind enough to invite us to his office so we could spend some time with him. He told us about his time in space and the extreme G forces that he felt when taking off. He also gave us a gift bag with a STS 133 badge. That meeting sparked in me an interest in space travel so big it’s never going out. I’m forever grateful for that opportunity. To this day he’s been a source of inspiration for me.

  • I have downloaded the full game (about 90 gigs) and I’m on windows 10 but when I pick save the world it doesn’t show anything other than learn more or back. What to do.

  • This was fantastic and in keeping with the finest traditions of GR! Perhaps Cap can take a load off once in a while and share the burden a bit. The ammount of content that that man makes (I’m sure he gets help, but still) boggles the mind, and I can only see a benefit in letting the other talented GR members make some of the content, leaving the dear leader free for planning more ambitious campains and videos, as well as letting him get his beauty sleep (lord knows he could use it). I know this was only supposed to be a stopgap, one off, kind of thing, but honestly, I don’t think it would be a bad idea to decentralize a bit.

  • Good to see even without Herr Cap zee Grim Retards still managed to lose two fighters not because of enemy fighters or fire but because of retardism. Cringe und facepalm moment.

  • If I was a billionaire I’d donate many many of millions of dollars to continue space exploration & allow for additional flights to the ISS. I am beyond sad & disappointed that American Space Exploration is going to limited.

  • Greetings from the Philippines! Thank you Fr. Juvy and all the Redemptorist priests in Bangalore. Your preaching is a great reminder of Christ’s love to His people. God bless.

  • I was lucky enough to watch the launch from the causeway south of launch pad.

When they did finally gave the GO after the issue a massive cheer went up.m
This was one of the most amazing things to see in person!

  • just to give some perspective on what the SADF was up against SA had 12 multi role fighters…. cuba and Angola had 96 multi role fighters… SA could not afford to loose it’s fighters and the Angolan air defence was one of the best of the time with the new Russian SA 8….SA could not send up many fighters at once and had to use them as sparingly as possible…. think the guys where there can correct me if i’m wrong but i dont think you’d ever see a flight of 4 mirages crossing the boarder together 2 ship only combat missions

  • The Atlas Cheetah C was in development fase during this time of the conflict. The Mirage F1 CZ primary tasking was air superiority. The Mirage F1 AZ primary tasking was ground attack. Mirage iiiCZ were CAS or multi role offensive. Impala MB 326K was tasked with ground support. Lastly the SA 330B Puma was rapid deployment of troops ( usually SF, Paratrooper or 32 Battalion) as well as CASAVAC or S&R.
    I’m a veteran & was there.
