The fact is that companies can set the terms of employment much as they see fit. Can an employer take your cell phone from you? NO. but if you bring it to work, the employer ask for it, and you refuse, they may discipline.

If you were informed that you could not bring a cell phone to work, they can probably consider it a breach of employment agreement and terminate you or discipline you depending on their company policy. They cannot “take” it from you. You would have to voluntarily turn it over (which it sounds like you did).

  • That is crazy! when i’m sleeping my ipad DID not grow any batterys an till midnight it went to 50%,in the morning it just went to 100%

  • I feel that i get really distracted by youtube and such just like right now, lol. Another problem i found with distraction was when we all went home for school and learning at home there was a lot more distractions because of youtube and i have found that really it’s my iPad that is the distraction and my phone really isn’t a distraction.

  • if you take a phone into the gym you’re a joke. It’s rude when other people want to use a machine and have to wait too long whilst someone finishes messing on facebook and whatever mundane crap they’re looking up. Plus, it decreases the intensity of your workout. If you feel the phone is so important, stay at home and let those of us who are serious about training get along with what we need to do. Otherwise, put it in the locker. I’m sure you could manage without it for one hour!

  • Have a question. Rp s15 starts soon and one of my friend fucked up picking AG instead of uc and then pick the UC he have now 450 uc and rest AG. He havent use any of the AG or UC gift from the rp prizes. Can the remaining uc be converted to AG so he can get the full 8000 AG? I gifted rp to him and cant afford to gift again xd

  • Normally when you change colour space in a photo editing program (I use Capture One) it will try its best to make the new photo look the same as the old. sRGB has a reasonable enough amount of colour that for a lot of practical images you don’t really notice it unless you look at the two images side by side.

An advantage of sRGB for web images is because those 255 levels result in smaller gradations when the colour space is smaller. If you’re working in aRGB or proPhoto then it’s nicer to have 1024 gradations (professional monitors) or more. The camera would be shooting RAW images in either 12 or 14 bits per pixel (4096 or 16384 gradations) which give you much closer spaced colours and much less risk of blockynesss for fine tones like human skin.

  • My family bought me phone before several months and l hated my phone l don’t use anything that can distract me like social media except youtube but somewhat it still ruins my day. I have tried to don’t use it and turn back to activities l were doing before my phone were bought but l couldn’t find anything to do and it was so boring that i turned back to my phone. Thanks to that video today l’m quiting my phone and hopefully somewhat get rid of it, buy a old phone and a camera with this money. Good luck to everyone who wants to have a better life:)
