  • This video didn’t prove anything to me. I still believe that animal fats and saturated fats cause type 2 diabetes. Fat is like sludge in your cars engine. Eating saturated fats = sludge in your body. When you have this sludge in your body, nothing works properly. The Keto diet puts your body in starvation mode and I don’t believe being in “starvation mode” is healthy long term.

  • olive oil no vitamins anti nutrients pufas and goes rancid fast YEA PASS i cant even ingest coconut oil it hurts my stomach after carnivore

  • Kati did you ever read the obesity code or listen to dr. Fung. I can’t find an insulin index online. Obviously there are a thousand GLUCOSE INDEX but I can’t find insulin index

  • Apple cider vinegar before large meals, raw ginger root, Cinnamon with most sweeter foods, and you could apply Berberine pills along with pantothenic acid (vitamin b5) toward your supplement regiment, but you should have a walk for 10-20 min after eating when possible.

  • I love lightly frying some pieces of avocado and then scrambling eggs on top of them. The combination tastes great and is really filling.

  • Hi Kait, super great video. I publish similar material. Love your scientific perspective. Great strategies to reduce insulin resistance. I’m inspired.

  • The leading theory regarding the cause of insulin resistance is saturated fat, excess caloric consumption, and physical inactivity.

  • Dr I’m still waiting on your response / opinions on the What The Health documentary from Netflix. They (many Dr’s on that documentary say that high fat and meat are bad and a leading cause of cancer. I’m keto by the way lost 50lbs and enjoy it. Just want your opinion. Or anyone else that has watched it.

  • So if fat does not spike insulin, then how the energy from fat gets in cells, liver….etc? same with protein?
    Where the fat goes?
I thought insulin signals the cells to take in energy.
One other question, Muscles are the highest storage for glucose, if we don’t eat carbs, then body has to wait to get stress out, and convert fat and protein to glucose and send it to muscles?

  • Hi Kait! ‍♀️ Is it possible to provide information about going carnivore and colon cancer? Is there a connexion? Thx from an inquisitive Canuck!

  • Removing PUFA and increasing carbs is what reversed my insulin resistance.

Carnivore and low carb made it worse for sure, sensitivity to insulin will not increase by just lowering the foods that stimulate it.
Salmon is very high in unsaturated fats, one of the worst foods for insulin resistance…
