  • Thank you so much for this video! Mailchimp’s website has updated since, and Lists is now Audience. Took a bit of maneuvering, but I managed to get everything to work. Your videos are excellent.

  • Thank you for explaining the url and authorization stuff almost quit while I was basically finished w/ my entire back end. subbed.

  • Your video is amazing and understand easily so I request you please give a some tips how to increase more traffic on WordPress site

  • Ok, someone reply: why is there an earth-type symbol every time in the tab, the grey colour earth, why isn’t the symbol coming there?

  • What is this spooky timing? I was looking at ways to implement a mailing list to my new gatsby site, thank you so much Brad, you are the best as usual:D

  • Wow thanks! Is it useful to learn how to do all this in scratch for a contact form? For learning purposes or is mailchimp the best way to go?

  • the code from postman is practically useless and will likely fail. Those of you looking for the browser version should use this:
    var request = require(‘request’);

        const data = {
            members: [
                {
                    email_address: email,
                    status: ‘subscribed’,
                    merge_fields: {
                        FNAME: name,
                        TEXTYUI_3: city,
                        CHECKBOXY: device
                    }
                }
            ]
        }

        const postData = JSON.stringify(data)

        const options = {
        url: ‘ https://us17.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/lists/yourownlist‘,
        method: ‘POST’,
        headers: {
            Authorization: ‘your own key’
        },
        body: postData
        };

        request(options, function (error, response, body) {
        if (error) {
            console.log(‘Error saving to mailchimp’)
        } else if (response.statusCode = 200) {
            console.log(‘Saved to mailchimp’);
        }
        });

  • This video is amazing. Unfortuanely I’m doing something wrong. I’ve literaly type every line and followed the whole video. Everything seems to be working but when I refresh the page, it never add a new subscriber. I then copy the mockup from your GitHub and just added the ID, API and the I mean the us number. Still not working. When I check on the mailchamp site on the API page, it shows all the last 24hrs API’s request. The user agent line is blank for all of them. Any Idea what might be causing the issue? Please help!

  • Does anyone know how to rewrite this code in loopback4 typescript
    request(options, (err, response: { statusCode: number; }, body) => {

    if (err) {

    throw new HttpErrors.Forbidden(`Request cannot be processed`);

    } else {

    if (response.statusCode = 200) {

    return true

    } else {

    throw new HttpErrors.Forbidden(`Request cannot be processed`);

    }

    }

    })

  • Hi Brad, I tried that, it works but not on localhost… I have this error:
    “Access to Xmlhttprequest at ‘https://…” from origin “ http://localhost” has been blocked by CORS policy.
    How could I fix that to test in localhost?

  • Can you do a tutorial showing how do you deploy this on cPanel? I’m trying to add this on my WordPress Project on a regular server. I’m confused about node.js and is it compatible with cPanel or if is another method like PHP instead of this. Please someone help me to clarify. Great tutorials and Udemy Courses

  • Hey your tutorials are great. And I created a newsletter signup. But I am having problems with creating an unsubscribe form. Can anyone help me with that?
