  • Sarah…I love your videos! I made this dip the other day and my husband and I went NUTS over it! And ordinarily my hubby hates avocados. Finally found a way he will eat them…SCORE! I also used it as a spread on my sandwiches instead of mayo and thinned it out with a little milk or water and it is an awesome salad dressing! Thanks a million!

  • This looks great but one quick tip with the avocado. Instead of scooping out the avocado once you’ve halved it make a little slit in the edge and peel it like an orange. The skin comes off easily and leaves you with more of the dark green part which is the healthiest part of the avocado.

  • A recipe that I like if anybody wants some ideas for a breakfast sandwich: bread (obviously toasted), 1/2-1 avocado spread on the toast (I recommend 1/2) Eggs cooked any way you want, diced potatoes cooked in a little bit of oil (one smaller potato or a half if it’s a bigger potato), and tomato slices.

  • Looks very good. Would Sour Creme also work rather than yogurt. I think it would make for a thicker sauce and still come out yummy. 

  • Cut up some corn tortillas, place them in a single layer on a baking tray, brush with olive oil, & bake at 325 F until they are golden brown and dehydrated. Once you make your own chips, you will never be able to stand the store bought kind:)

  • It’s easier to mash the avocado into a chunky puree and put it into a handmade piping bag, and squeeze it over your sandwich. That’s what I always do. Avocados are difficult to slice and handle because they are so soft.

  • I make my avocado toast like this!
    Toast plain/whole wheat bread
    Spread avocado on it with salt and pepper
    Put a fried egg on it
    I sometimes put a tomato on it too
    I put some cheese on it
    To finish it up I put some lemon and sprinkle salt of it!

  • How I do avocado toast:
    Take a slice of sourdough bread, cut it in half and toast it.
    Then, while it’s in the toaster, grab olive oil out of your pantry, grab your avocado, and some salt, and this lemony spice I love called tajin. (Idk how to spell it. ��)
    When your toast is done, pour some olive oil on, spread the avocado on, and sprinkle on some salt and tajin.
    I promise you it’s delicious. Very simple, but delicious.

    Top that with crab (canned works fine)
    Little bit of sriracha

  • My favourite Avo-Toast is toasted sourdough bread, mashed avocado with salt and lemon, smoked salmon, one fried egg (with a runny yolk), black pepper and paprika on top. Delicious!! ��

  • I toasted bread and spread on some Country Crock butter and then spread on avocado. The toast was pretty good. Next time I may add a boiled egg or maybe a poached egg. I like the toast that you added the feta cheese on.

  • You might want to try spreading out the ingredients next time, to make it more like a “sushi” roll rather than a seaweed spring roll. If you roll it then you can slice into peices.

  • Nice recipe. But I believe carrots and especially chick peas (60 mass%) are not low carb at all, so unfortunately no good for ketogenic diets. Nevertheless great video.
