  • i normally get laser for my upper lip/moustache but i have been using hair removal instead because i find it safer then the wax strips or plucking and it is easier hahaha

  • hey! just wanted to inform there is no such thing as opening and closing your pores. your pores always stay the same size no matter what. but by using steam you can loosen up some of the dirt particles on your face but that’s about it.

  • Don’t take pills at same time take it all separately cuz when u take it to gather every bill has different chemicals so u ve to take it between them 15 sec minimum so u ll took the right benefits from every Bill’s if it be all ones may be matter get worse

  • I’m a little late to this whoops! But a note of positivity! The hospital in my local town has had NO patients with COVID-19 in the last few days! For the first time in 11 weeks!! Love to you all! Thank you Sanne!

  • Sanne I get just as red if I use pre wax strips or if I pull too hard. It’s best to exfoliate and then apply a redness reducer cream before you wax it protects your skin. Also I always use cornstarch before I apply wax because it helps soak up sweat and oil before you apply the strips and gets up fine hairs you may not always get. I also don’t always pull straight up sometimes I start at the lip and pull the strip down. I find it reduces redness and it makes the process slightly quicker. Especially if you have thick stubborn hairs that you have to yank and pull on for 10 minutes. That will cause a red rash that then turns to dead dry skin in the face for a week.

  • Thanks for this video!:D You have some very good tricks, I love to learn new methods to improve the beauty of the skin.

Recommendation: to wax the central part it is better if you place the strip of wax vertically (aligned with your nose) and pull it from the mouth towards the nose, this way you wax in the opposite direction to hair growth and you will get a better result.

To prevent pimples from appearing due to the cleaning of the wax with the oil the best trick is to apply cold water before cleaning with the oil to close the pores.

  • My skin has been so much better since I have been using only Shea butter as lotion. I use a cleanser to wash my face, hydrogen peroxide ($2 a big bottle) for killing germ causing bacteria on my face, and Shea butter as moisturizer. That is it. Cheap and super effective. Maybe you can give it a try.❤️❤️❤️

  • btw you want open your pores since they dont have muscles to move but its good to steam as long as its not too hot also make sure you watch hyram for skincare and this is not hate just some tips and facts:)

  • I’m taking time for myself this weekend because one of my best friends told me I had to before my mental health got into the state hers is in

  • When you pull the wax strip off, don’t pull the strip straight away from your face. Pull it as parallel to your face as possible. You will lift the skin if you rip it straight off! Just a tip

  • This was such a fun video to see! I always try to do self care mornings or evenings like once a week. It’s a really nice reset in my weekly routine.

  • I like using hard wax more.. I got the heating pot and wax beads from Amazon; it works great and in my opinion, it’s less painful.

  • Thanks for the great video. Love facial steaming with rose!!! Also really love Barbara Sturm products too and appreciate you showing us a new launching brand. Sometimes I use chamomile or rose essential oils in jojoba oil blend and mix it with some coconut oil or extra jojoba oil. Its natural, soothing and comforting. Be safe Sanne!

  • tempeh nuggets that you bake in the oven are so good! i just cut the tempeh into nugget size pieces, coat them into soy cream, then tapioca starch, then soy cream again, then tapioca starch, and then a mixture of breadcrumbs and almond flour! i usually season all three with spices, and then bake the nuggets in the oven!

  • You are really pretty.
But I think that it’s not such a good idea to have so many treatments on your face in one go.
Especially when one has sensitive skin like you do.
After using the wax strips you might want to just gently wash your face and leave it alone for atleast 24 hours.

  • Squeeze some of the face mask into a ziplock bag and put the mask on your face and then put the mask back into the bag and you can reuse it and save money and it should stick on your face better..

  • Sanne, you are the best! Love from Ukraine! I think it would be interesting to show your spring clothes and how you match them together. Also I’m curious what you read and what you watch, because I believe this kind of things influence us and you are such a positive person!

  • hiii sanne! someone told me that use wax in the upper lip provoque wrinkles! Because it is a very delicate part.. I remove them one by one hahahha

  • as someone with also very sensitive skin, I was like “nooooooo don’t steam so soon after waxing”!! every aesthetician I’ve seen has said no heat (not even a sweaty workout or sauna) for 24-48 hours after a wax!

  • Hi babes!!
Here is my ultimate hair care/skincare/pamper/spa day routine!! ALL the products I used are linked in the description box

What are some of your favorite things to do when you’re pampering yourself? ‍♀️

    xox hails

  • No makeup or pampering for me, thanks. Here’s my morning routine.

    Wakes up at 6:00
    Change clothes.
    Brush teeth.
    Washes face.
    Packs backpack.
    Somewhat brushes hair.
    Doesn’t style hair.
    Eats breakfast while drawing.
Asks mom to take me to school.
    Drives to school.
Arrives at school at 6:40 A.M.

All this in 40 minutes. It’s so much better to act productively instead of pampering myself in my opinion. I’m not worth spending time and much money on anyway.

  • 7:55 As someone who works in the dental field, smile direct club aligners are not Invisalign aligners. The technology is completely different. For anyone thinking about going the smile direct club route, please visit your general dentist to make sure that your teeth and gums are healthy before starting treatment. Get an orthodontic consult too, most offices will do complimentary ones. Ask how your bite is and how your teeth most likely can to be moved into place. This gives you a reference point. It’s your choice at the end of the day, but getting orthodontic treatment is a lot more complex than just straightening teeth. It’s completely repositioning your teeth and roots. This can change your bite and, if done incorrectly, can cause a lot of issues and/or damage in the future.

  • Pores hasn’t any muscle. So for that pores aren’t open or close. The scrub is just irritating your skin.If our pores isn’t clean, they seem more big but not. They are all in same size.Don’t use kind of so big scrub.

  • Hailey Eylül Sani canım you didn’t say how often you used the whitening kit so lemme drop this down in the comments for others to see:
ONLY USE TEETH WHITENING KITS A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK. These products can wear down your enamel, weaken your teeth, leave a long lasting yellow hue and brown stains similar to cigarette stains. So be cautious when using them…

  • Thank you so much for talking about the lymphatic system! It’s something that’s very new to me. After you mentioned some facts about it, I did a little research myself to learn some more. Also, love watching all of your videos I am such a fan. I even notice for me they’re helpful for the depression that I sometimes can experience. I watch these videos and I find myself being much more present and feeling much more connected! It’s such a great thing to learn feminine tips, and tricks-it helps me better embrace and enjoy being female. I can safely function from that identity and nurture it by supplying what it needs to flourish most I have so much respect for what you do, and even feel more connected in an overall way when you’re able to be so open and vulnerable from the heart. It’s refreshing, and it further makes me want to do the same!

  • Hi, I really like your video, but can I ask you something! Could you please introduce some cheeper products? These products that you use are so expensive

  • Your hair is not frizzy it is curly! From this video when your hair is wet underneath it is curly if you stop blowing out your hair and straightening it you can have really nice natural curls.

  • This pretty little sleepy eyed girl calms me down just looking at pretty face. When she starts the asmr I pretty much melt into the bed.

  • First off, I adore your hair always and this is one of the first times I’m seeing it with all its natural texture. GORG! Also, I love the way you approach your evening routine as a pampering session because it really connects with me. A few years ago my life completely flipped over. I had to start from scratch and all of the fear and the hurt that comes along with stuff like that in life wore me out all day long. But in the morning and the evening, I started investing in skincare and it was so life-giving. I had God and my childhood home to go back to for support and love, but that 15 mins or so I spent massaging off my makeup and putting on creams and serums and lighting candles…it was a way for me, just for a lil bit everyday, to love on myself and let go. I’m so happy you’re spreading this concept of “pampering” and the health that goes with it. Thank you!!! And as always, your videos are stunning to watch

  • It Probably hurts when you’re waxing your lip because you’re pulling the strip off wrong… You don’t pull and lift away from your lip, you pull up close to your lip ( if that make sense) and the next time you wax your lip, do your skin care first then wax your lip.. anyway hope that was helpful xx

  • Ozzy is adorable, I have a one year old rescued puppy too she is a pit bull healer mix she’s not fluffy she I like 2 feet big and she has as much fur as yours

  • The machine that opens your pores really hurts. My mom uses it every day and I tried once. You have to be careful with it cuz it almost ripped my upper lip off

  • Oh how I’d love to get Function of Beauty products…but I just looked at the site, it’s so expensive X( I’d feel bad trying to ask my mom if I could get it, so maybe when I find a job:’) wonderful video!!

  • oil cleansing is legit meditation for those who “can’t meditate” it helps my morning when i use it to take off Differin, Vitamin C, any skincare that may make your cleanser irritating, try a cleansing oil in the morning because first thing you don’t want to feel any burning from actives. (edit: the lymphatic system negligence is the saddest thing missing in “american” or western medicine. i saw a technique done by a pro makeup artist massaging downward from the neck lymph nodes with the sides of the thumbs with a moisturizer but i cant remember which video it was in. You want to use the ball of the hand up to the side of the thumb, underneath the jawbone from the lymph node and down remove hands, repeat. Also, thank you for making such a thoughtful video adressing the stress we all have compared to allot of routines where the point can almost seem lost. Many videos depend on frivolous things like expensive items or fragranced items and bath bombs. health represent! lol )

  • I love selfcare routines! its so relaxing watching them:) I started doing videos about skicare too (in english and spanish) give it a look:)

  • I know everyone is commenting this, but that’s using a lot of water. I always take a bath to exfoliate and shave my legs. Then I drain it and take a shower to rinse off and wash my hair

  • Hi Sanne!
Sensitive skin girl here! Whenever I wax my skin gets so red and specially in the moustache I’ve experienced some burns (and I use COLD wax). My advice, which has completely changed my life, is use sugar wax. You apply it in the opposite direction as a regular wax and I can assure you the redness lasts less and my skin doesn’t get itchy bumps 2 days after (which happens to me if I use regular wax, sensitive skin wax or shave)
    Have a nice day!!

  • I use a face cleanser in the shower, and i use the steam in the shower instead. Just incase you anyome wants to do it without buying a steamer.

  • u literary put so much junk itno ur face u don’t even know what ur putting on your face like that is a lot of chemicals on your face like all u have to do to get a nice glowing face is drink alot of water eat good and wash your face with soap like no need to put so much junk on your face for hours. like ur dumb for that ngl

  • she spoke about the book ‘The power of habit’. I also read this book a little while ago and it’s very interesting. I got so happy when she started talking about it idk why hahaha.

  • If I use these products I will get HUGE BREAKOUTS. Full of acne and redness all over my face… I don’t even want to think about it. I wish I had her skin

  • I don’t wanna be rude but….. face scrubs are not the best for your face a chemical exfoliant is the best! Also don’t use the pour vacuum after exfoliating your face that is just damaging your skin. Again I’m sorry if that was rude just trying to help you not damage your skin.

  • eylül o saç şeyi türkiyeyede geliuo muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • I dont know what you classify as a toxin in skin care. there is no such thing as clean ingredients. like what does that even mean? the ingredients used in skincare have shown no negative affect to health, and the research that shows it does affect health are unreliable, not properly done and need much more research to come to any conclusions.

  • I enjoyed watching this video, as always with these type of videos haha. I also uploaded a spa day @ home and I would love if you could check it out

  • please don’t do diy skincare like she suggested! It can be damaging to your skin & actually worse for it! if you guys don’t watch Hyram already, I highly recommend him for more skincare tips!

  • Hi your videos r amazing I love watching them and want to organize my home exactly like u do.. I Love it.. where did u get the facial steamer from and what brand is that because when I’m clicking on the link it says error. Thanks ❤️

  • I soooo swear, of ALL the home spa routines I’ve watched, no one, NOT ANYONE includes teeth cleaning/whitening so mad respect for dental hygiene!

  • She is rubbing off on me, thank goodness. I never make time for myself. The first video I watched from her channel was about 3 days ago. I made time to do a hair mask as part of a spa day. I quickly realized I didn’t have enough time and ran outside to feed the animals (horses, dairy goats, and chickens) only to get hay stuck in my egg hair mask. Sigh. Not cool. I’m getting there though, today I actually bought under eye masks, soaked my feet, and now I’m going out to milk the girls a bit later than normal so I COULD have the ‘me time.’:)

  • Rachel Talbott: I have been wanting to have a spa for the longest, but seeing this video, it changed my mind from going to an actual spa to a at home spa instead. But I still wanna try to go to an actual spa before doing a at home spa. But overall, love this video. Great tips you’ve showed us.

  • Hi. One question. I made the coffee scrub with almost same ingredients. But my mom warned me like “No, coffee should darken your skin so you shouldn’t use it. And you see, most of the models introduces coffee scrub is with black color or someone a bit darker color.”
My skin color is not quite white, just same as average Japanese but wondering if my mom’s correct or not..

  • positive news is, apart that Michigan is going to plant 40000! trees to help the planet yay: ), that I had the chance to watch this new video of yours thank you, your video made my day, amazing, nice to watch, informative, with positive energy as each video of yours Sanne ❤ and sincere ❤ oh if only there was more sincerity in the world I couldn’t ask for more, now I’m going to drink my nettle tea, cheers

  • Love this video!! I’ve always done steaming since I was a small girl too my mom always told me that it opens up your pores. Sane you should check our Peak and Valley Adaptogen blends blends that help balance your body’s reaction to stress. (Disclaimer: I founded the company) lmk if you want to try them out!

  • My hairs are just like urs but due to more humidity and products I use they are more on frezzy side. Watching you doing all this make me feel it’s done on me. Keep it up

  • What you are saying about skincare is just not true… please don’t spread a false message about skin when you don’t know anything about it…
    you should double cleanse
    pores do not open
scrubs are really bad physical exfoliaters and your little recipe is so bad, sugar is a lot to rough for human skin
chemicals arent bad, they are everywhere, which makes your statement about natural skincare idiotic

  • The lymphatic system does drain itself and unless you are a VERY sedentary person or confined to a hospital bed you shouldn’t have to drain it or detox it manually, the most powerful machine is a healthy person’s body, and what do you mean they don’t teach these things at school they do in science class when you’re like 14 (currently 14 y/o and learning it, or at least I was before they closed all schools because of the covid-19), they teach you about all body systems, or at least they did it in my school and I go to a very average/bad public school, maybe you weren’t paying attention to class and are now misinforming your viewers, you sound dumb the talk about how the body isn’t used to today’s environment and all of that is honestly bullshit the human body is in constant evolution, also going from a extremely warm temperature to a cold temperature or vice versa may be harmful for your body especially your muscles and joints

  • Omg I loved watching this again it’s inspiring and I definitely will read more about the lymphatic system. I love doing little candles and scented things with self care it really relaxes me

  • Me: I wanna watch Joice
Back of my head: Remeber you can bearly see you need new glasses and you have to wait two weeks for them

  • This girl is about to make spend a lot of money. I need to get everything she’s using. lol!
Honestly just discovered this channel and it feels like I’m not wasting my time when I watch her.

  • Hey girl I just want you to know that you are so beautiful and I really feel called to tell you how much God loves you. I pray that anything that feels missing in your life you can find in Jesus. Bless you girl

  • Hello there I’m a doctor and I just want to say, no the lymphatic system does Not need your help or any outside help to do its function, as long as it’s healthy and you don’t suffer from any diseases that compromise it, the lymphatic system will do its job just fine on its own

You can buy the Nivea Oil In Body Lotion here:

  • My routine: I remove my makeup with a makeup remover cloth (or 2). Next, i brush, floss and use mouthwash. Then I massage my damp face with a CREAM cleanser (Sukin is my favourite non-toxic skin care brand. It’s from Australia) to remove everything really well. Sometimes, I scrub before before cleansing (1-2 times/week).

Then, if it’s time to use a face mask, I do it and of course, it’s a non-toxic, cruelty-free brand like Sukin or Andalou Naturals. Often, I also simply make my own. I have several masks that I make. If anyone wants to know to make your own face masks, facial and body scrubs, feel free to ask!

If not using using a mask or after washing it off, I go and massage my night cream (also by Sukin) on my face AND neck area. Don’t forget your neck area!

Facial oils aren’t for everyone, but they’re okay for me. So, sometimes I mix up the routine by using 1-2 drops of pure rosehip or pure almond oil instead of face cream.

Next, I moisturize my body, especially arms and legs, while paying extra attention to my hands, elbows, knees and whole feet. Andalou Naturals is my favourite body care brand. Just like Sukin, it’s non-toxic and cruelty-free.

Instead of oiling my scalp and hair during the day, I prefer to do it at night. I lay and tuck a thick, old (but clean) towel on my pillows to keep them protected from my oily hair. I brush my hair then use organic coconut oil, or almond oil, or an oil mix that I made myself using coconut, almond castor and nigella (aka blackseed) oil and whole fenugreek seeds. Then I tie up my hair in a bun.

I only oil my hair if I know I am staying home that day or the day after, because I like giving my hair a really INTENSE dose of hydration and health boost. Since I have thick, South Asian hair, it really needs that sometimes. Plus shampoo doesn’t really get rid off all the oil the first time.

I use LOTS of oil and it takes 2-3 showers and multiple shampooing during each shower to remove ALL the oil. If you use only a little oil, you can probably shampoo twice in a single shower and be okay. I will add the recipe for my custom hair oil mix below. This oil mix really good!

I have made a commitment to drink more water, so I chug at least 2 full glasses before bed. Honestly, ever since I started drinking more water throughout the day and before bed, I started noticing some positive changes, both internal and external.

Sometimes, I read or write a bit, or relax some other way before falling asleep. When I have a face mask on, I especially take the opportunity to relax. Sometimes, I also paint my nails before bed so that they’re ready the next morning.

If I am going out of the house the next day, I pick my outfit (if there’s an event, of course I do it ahead of time). I also think about the things I am going to do tomorrow and plan my day (unless it’s already pretty obvious how I will spend it, doing what and where etc). I also play with our cat a little. I might watch a bit of TV while playing with her, and have a conversation with my husband.

I don’t usually like to have big conversations with my husband when we’re getting ready to go to bed. That stuff is for the daytime or some other time (unless it’s REAL necessity or an emergency or something). I prefer starting and ending my day in a slow, relaxed way, as much as possible.

So I like to keep any topic like family, household, work, personal, social, financial etc are off limits. These are heavy subjects and let’s be honest, not always fun and relaxing. We can talk about bills, my mother, his family, our to-do lists or how annoying that habit of his (which will never change of that I’m sure) some other time.

So that’s basically is how I end my day and prepare for the next one. Now, for my custom hair oil mix: I add 2-3 TBSP fenugreek seeds (available in South Asian groceries. You will also find the nigella/black seed oil there) in a small jar or just a mug. Then I add melted coconut, almond, nigella/black seed and castor oil. I eyeball everything, but I use coconut oil the most followed by almond, blackseed and castor oil (castor oil should be used with a bit of caution. It’s not good in large amounts).

I let the mix sit for a few days before using for the first time. Then I top up the jar with more oil as I go. This is a centuries old recipe used in almost all South Asian countries by women to use in our hair for stronger, truly healthy hair and of course, hair growth.

  • Shez my age. Shez literaly so groomed and lives in a beautiful house and I’m out here in a uni hostel, surving on instant noodles.

  • Great video. Here’s a quick tip, use slow cooker plastic wrap so that your slow cooker doesn’t absorb the essential oil fragrance. Because I wouldn’t want my chicken to taste like eucalyptus

  • I think she is just so different from other youtubers out there. I don’t really know how to describe this but for me, whenever I feel low, i’ll come here n watch her videos cause just hearing her voice, the way she talks calms me down. I love that she’s confindent in herself or at least takes care of herself. she just seems so loving n kind when she said she was dealing with anxiety and depression my heart literally broke cause why would such a lovely lady deal with those stuff?? but Alexandra I really do look up to you cause your personality really is something else.

  • Ok boo the steam DOES NOT OPEN YOUR POURS IT JUST GETS SOME OF THE DIRT OUT OF YOUR POURS go watch Hyrams video ALSO DONT DO DIY SKINCARE he also talks about that you should research before you do a skincare video and recommend things to your followers I hate when people don’t have the knowledge about skincare and just say “facts” about skincare to people and didn’t do their research

  • I just had a panic attack from an audio on TikTok, I am so glad that Jocie is here to keep me calm. Thank you so much, really. ❤️

  • Am I hearing this right? This girl is saying most of the times when people have a body issue it’s because they aren’t expressing their emotions? That is so ignorant and dismissive of the myriad of physical health issues people have to deal with that is not a result of their own inaction. Just remember any person can become an influencer and there are no qualifications needed.

  • hi haily! I’m going to start a youtube acc like this too but i don’t now how to do it I’m 11 ears old and i think i u were like that too when u first started:) if u could give me some tips i would be really happy bat it luv u bye <3

  • Hey, I just wanted to appreciate you for using that plant based skin care set. I’m a teenager, and am exploring organic and vegan body care and cosmetic options. I’m very new to it, and it seemed like a hassle for the longest time, but seeing so many women use plant based options and introduce these options to me though YouTube or other platforms makes it seem achievable!!!! Thankyou so so so much!!!!!
