  • I’m 25 weeks pregnant and am reading a TON right now, it’s one of the only things my body can handle, ha ha. If you like beachy reads, Elin Hilderbrand has a trilogy of books that I just read book 1 and 2 for last week, that I could not put down. The 3rd book in the series comes out this Summer. Book one is: Winter in Paradise and book two is: What happens in Paradise. My two favorite books from last year are both by Taylor Jenkins Reid: The 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones & the Six (both were awesome!) If you like Historic Fiction, read The Giver of Stars, it starts out a little slow and then becomes sooooo good around page 25. Also, Bringing Down the Duke, is historical fiction about the British Suffragette movement and it has some steamy bits (I read this book in like 24 hours, I couldn’t put it down and stayed up to the wee hours of the morning just so I could keep reading. Hope some of these appeal to you! I read a LOT, so I have lots of suggestions for the future if you need them! Sending Love from NY <3

  • I work in publishing and got my hates-to-read-boyfriend hooked on the author, Frederik Backman. Start with “A Man Called Ove.” The narration is amazing, and you’ll fall in love <3

  • Any of the Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith but Cuckoo’s Calling and Lethal White are the best. Also, Goodnight Mr. Tom, any of Marian Keyes books but especially Rachel’s Holiday and Last Chance Saloon. And The Snowman by Jo Nesbo

  • Liane Moriarty’s books are so addictive!! Definitely recommend:) also, loved the video and got some inspiration for my own goals!

  • Book suggestion: The shadow of what was lost!!! It’s amazing! Highly recommend! It’s an adventure Fantasy book that is set in a really cool world full of plot twists and rich characters!

  • My goal for 2020, reduce my body fat by 6% and feel better in my body mentally. Book recommendation: anything from Gillian Flynn especially ‘sharp objects’

  • Why would you ever feed yourself ONE GRAPE! Grapes are like the best thing ever! sometimes my entire body hurts! BECAUSE I ATE TOO MANY GRAPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ‘It’s Going to Hurt’ by Adam Kay is an amazing book! It will make you both cry and laugh. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a giggle:)

  • Im a kid and i need to be a little fat but i eat healthy i lose wait dont gane wait and my mom say that if adults eat healthy food they lose wait and if kids eat healthy food they gane wait but i dont gane wait by eating healthy… wow

  • We changed over our credit card from Chase Freedom to the PayPal credit card about a year ago…best change ever! Good luck finding the right fit. Happy baby trying.:) Hugs.

  • Hi Sami! I’m looking forward to following your journey in 2019! I can’t wait to see what you do on your channels and with your shop!

  • It’s a good idea to hit 10,000 steps. I don’t go to the gym and I had a gym membership but it was a huge waste of money since I didn’t go. Having to hit a certain number of steps would be good for me (for now anyway) to burn more calories. I did the clean eating for 6 days and a cheat day every week and that was helpful. Date nights is so important-it’s great that you found a babysitter that is good and that you can trust. I need to stick to a budget big time…2019! I actually have a credit card that I don’t touch but now I’m wondering if there is an annual fee that I am not even aware of or paying. I haven’t heard from them but I should look into that! I found your channel because I was searching for 2019 planners (I just uploaded a goals planner on my channel and was seeing if it would show up in the searches) and I’m glad I found you. Looking forward to watching more of your content. New subscriber here! Sending baby vibes in 2019!

  • Tip for those who get sore muscles are exercising:

Sore muscles mean that you worked them to their limit. Yes, your muscles actually took a bit of damage, but that’s the point. When they’ve healed, they can handle more.
    1. Exercise until your muscles are sore.
    2. Rest until the pain is gone. ONLY get up when the pain is COMPLETELY gone, or you’ll do more damage than has been healed.
    3. Exercise again.
Repeat ad infinitum. At first, you might not feel any difference, but after a while, you’ll be positively surprised to see that you can handle much more than when you first started, and you didn’t even realize it! The increase in endurance is subtle, and you won’t notice from day 1 to day 2. But compare yourself after a few months to when you just started and see how far you’ve come.

I don’t exercise myself. Well, not in terms of sports or going to the gym. My work requires physical labor. Pulling weeds out of the ground, sawing branches off of trees with a polesaw twice my height, carrying huge garbage bags roughly 2/3rds my size. I now look at myself on that first day and wonder “I couldn’t have been that easily tired, could I?”

In short, work yourself until it hurts, rest and relax until the pain is COMPLETELY gone, get back to it. And don’t forget to eat well. You need the energy if you want to keep going.

  • Love this! I have a lot of similar goals, especially the headstand and pull ups! Try yoga with Adriene on YouTube. She has great videos for beginners.

  • Book recommendation: Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine
Not a big book reader myself but I was glued to this one and everyone else online seems to love it too
