10 FUN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND GAMES

Video taken from the channel: 5-Minute Crafts PLAY

One of the best outdoor physical activities for preschoolers is hula hooping. Place some different coloured hula hoops on the ground randomly. Then allow the children to gather around to follow instructions such as “hop into the green hoops in groups of four.” 3. Playgrounds and backyard swing sets make excellent outdoor activities for kids because they’re open-ended.

Kids create their own games and pretend play, using their imaginations at the same time as their muscles. 22 Play in the Sand and Surf. The water balloon toss is a class outdoor activity for kids of all ages, but it definitely hasn’t lost it’s fun factor.

15. Paper Boat Race. If you have a kiddie pool, nearby stream or small area of water close by, making paper boats for a paper boat race could be a fun and easy outdoor activity your kids will love.

Outdoor Painting with a Catapult. Older kids especially will love this art project/outdoor activity that is part science and part art. Use this tutorial from Fun A Day to construct a catapult, tint pompoms, and sling color onto a canvas or butcher paper.

Go for a walk. When looking for fun things to do outdoor with kids. Fun outdoor activities like Jumping on the Lily Pads help children develop motor skills, balance, and core muscle. Use chalk, masking tape, or hoops to make four lily pads stretching out in a straight line. Then put targets on the lily pads and have kids jump like a frog from lily pad to lily pad.

Here is a good. There are so many classic outdoor Physical Education games (soccer, kickball, flag football ) that are great for getting kids moving while encouraging teamwork and strategy along with strength and endurance. But that doesn’t mean you have to keep it classic every time the bell rings. Dance Party. Indoors or outdoors, turn up the music, use lights or decorations for ambiance, and let your kids twist, macarena, floss, dance like their favourite animal, or freestyle their way to fun.

When you have a group of kids over for an outdoor birthday party or play date, it’s handy to have some activity ideas up your sleeve.Outdoor games and activities for children don’t have to be complicated. Simple, easy-to-understand instructions for kids of all ages can encourage hours of active play. That means more time spent. Summer doesn’t have to be ruined due to continued COVID-19 restrictions. These genius indoor and outdoor social distancing games keep kids 6 feet apart from friends while they play.

Outdoor winter game s can be some of the most memorable for a child and summer games can be some of the most fun. Warm weather or cold weather, you’ll want to get the children outside to play. In this category, you’ll find a nice variety of games for mixed-age groups.

List of related literature:

As they develop into the preschool years, they need playgrounds that provide exercise areas, such as climbers and swings; make-believe or dramatic play areas, such as wheeled vehicles, cars, boats, and play houses; and areas for constructing, stacking, and digging that include tools, dirt, water, and sand.

  • First of all I have to say your charades and dance moves were great! No judgments here. My oldest son put a game on our tv from his computer. It had a few different kinds from drawing to fill in the blank and true or false. We all connected to the game from our phones or a kindle with the 4 digit code it gave us. Our youngest is learning to read so we took turns letting him choose an answer to type in or pick or even draw on our screen for us. Jack box is the name of the site.

  • Really nice selection of outdoor fun things for kids to do. Good way to get them oriented on just how much fun there is outdoors and when they are all grown up, they will continue with grownup outdoor activities like these ones here: http://easytravelgear.com/things-to-do-outdoors/

  • What a fun way to exercise with children, Jared! So creative. You guys are lucky you are allowed to go outside of your homes. We here in Spain we can’t. People are being fined just because they went for a walk to get some air. I live right in front of the beach and it’s even harder to see all that empty promenade and not being able to enjoy it. It’s a good thing, in that sense, that I don’t have kids. I would feel really sorry for them. But these are the times we live in and we must abide for the good of all. Stay safe and healthy you all!!!

  • You have a beautiful family. Today my Godsons and I worked in the Garden planting Azalea plants and cleaning our garden bed to plant our garden. I also limit their screen time as well as soft drinks. I am lucky that these guys love to make fresh squeezed lemonade.

  • only outdoor activities Wala video Acha hai. baki sare bakwass. usme bhi socks Wala chori kiya hai. channel hota hai toh mera. type karna sunil mawndia, usme crazy mind. . do not feel bura bro as it is your starting.

  • Looks like so much fun. My boys are 39 and 40 now. But, I still play with my grandchildren. We like to play hopscotch and jump rope too.

  • Love it! I did a similar ice activity with the kids I nanny. I died it blue and added sea creatures. No hammers but I had them melt it using squeeze water bottles that they could keep refilling. I’ll definitely try out your other activities too! Thank you!

  • Ping pong is great aerobic exercise! Our ping pong table has been getting more use lately! If you have more than four players, “around the world” style can utilized too.

  • When I was younger my mom got me and my older sister a toy kitchen set, and t was outside. Me and my older sister would just make “mud pies” aaaaallllll day in that kitchen set. It’s a great activity for kids!!!!!

  • What do you do to keep your kids active at home? Leave me a comment down below as we grow this list of ideas together! Thanks for watching.

  • Whatever makes you suggest that your dance moves aren’t ‘commentable’. You’re all there Jared and along with those adorable kids great fun to watch! Keep practicing those moves and maybe one day you’ll find yourself doing a dance-fitness type of. video. Be assured I’ll be the first one following your steps!!

  • I just adore your channel and you & Ziya! I’m learning a ton from watching your videos and you’re impacting my life in ways I can’t explain. Keep up the great work!

  • 3-1 game we call it elbow tag. We played in for volleyball and we would lay on the ground, on our stomaches, and have to get up and run

  • I’ve done the frozen ice thing with both of my boys for their quarantine birthdays and it was definitely a HUGE hit! For my youngest, I used balloons and small plastic dinosaurs. Filled them up with water and we had “Frozen Dinosaur Eggs!” For my oldest, I used a plastic container like you did, threw in a bunch of 1 dollar bills and he got to crack open his “Cold Hard Cash!” They had a blast!!!

  • Up in Canada here so we still have snow in places so sledding is a big one for us to do outside. Also filling squirt bottles up with water dyed with food colouring to draw on the snow with.

  • I don’t have any kids or grandkids but it looks like a lot of fun. I saw your suggestion of the just dance videos and just accessed one. I can imagine with the virus that adults can use it to keep fit while in the house if the gyms are shut (which isn’t a problem for us in our area at the moment though that could change). Maybe using light weights while dancing would add some resistance training with it as well. Thanks for another great bit of information and stay safe. By the way read one of the comments by the lady who lives in Spain. That is so awful that no one can come out of their houses and are actually getting fined if they leave their house. That bit of information amazed me. I didn’t know it was so bad.

  • Gymnastics. Spartan 300 AMPRAPS. Biking. Bird watching. Walking. Rock painting. Sidewalk chalk. Gardening. Bonfires. Tag. Hide and seek. Jump rope. Tug of war. Badminton. Tennis. Running. Fishing. Digging holes. Shooting stuff. Clay pigeons, cans, target practice wink wink. Scooters. Kettlebells. Legos. Pastels. Coding. Play dough. Cooking. Paper crafting. Charades. Simon says. Yoga. Pilates. Board games. We homeschool. We don’t own a television. We have not had to adjust. That’s a blessing. Limbo, roller skates, etc. That rocks. This has been good for me I have had a nagging piriformis issue since September. Blessing in disguise. Not running ten miles, more like 2-4 a day. Oh, also tea parties, unbirthdays, sorting through stuff to donate, sewing, photography, piano, air guitar contests, mega dance parties.

  • You certainly don’t want them getting any more tightly wound up than they already are, or you could have a riot in your house. Never let the kids fall prey to the dreaded couchpotatoitis. There’s definitely shades of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever to your dancing.

  • These are great. I’ve been looking for some fun activities do with my kids, and also share with my students and their families. Thank you!

  • I can’t subscribe because I don’t have any money just because my mom doesn’t have any money and I’m a kid I’m watching my mom’s tablet

  • I need to share this with my sisters am sharing it now shared it with my family when is exercises for back and ankles videos coming as my back and ankles are paining soooooooooo much Thanks Ramya

  • Hello from Portugal. I don’t have children, but if I did, I would do some activities you have shown here.. Stay home and stay safe everyone!!

  • Play Pirate Treasure Hunt! We have 10 grandchildren and 7 of them are ages 3-10. My husband is C,5-6 quadriplegic so we are as creative as we can be to include him in the activities with the kids. A HUGE hit with the kids is playing Pirates in the house by us hiding my junk jewelry, coins even a few dollars all over the house. I’ve cut up old black tee shirts or workout pants and tie them around their heads to look like pirates. (Hobby Lobby has party favors too such as eye patches, compasses and binoculars) We let them keep the money they find. It’s a lot like hiding and finding Easter eggs in the house but all year round.

  • I love the place in your area. It looks similar to some rural areas in my country. I really enjoy your video. I hope you can also support my video channel, too. Cheers! Have a very nice day!

  • Definitely trying some of these for self entertainment lmao. I like the puffy chalk paint thingamajig. Also trying the hoola hoop bubble in the kiddy pool.

  • Occurs to me also that treasure hunting is a win. I bury stuff, they dig it up in the sandbox. We ‘pan for diamonds’ with the garden hose. And I wish we had a metal detector.

  • Thanks for your great tips Jared. We live just outside London. Yesterday it was actually Sunny so we got outside and did some Hula Hooping races ( where the hoop spins round one foot as you run ). It was great fun. Plus neck, arm and waist Hulas, of course. I think it provided some hysterical entertainment for the neighbours who were watching form their confined spaces oh we also did cartwheels! Quoits is fun too!
