Very dry air (low humidity) can extract moisture from the skin and make eczema worse. Even if the weather is wet, humidity tends to remain low in winter. As the temperature drops, so does the air humidity.

At the same time, because it is cold outside, people tend to turn up the heat inside, and this makes the air there even drier. On top of this, many people experience a vitamin D deficiency during winter, which some studies have linked to higher rates of eczema, although the evidence is not conclusive on this front. “Infections, such as colds, non-specifically flare up dermatitis because they upset the. • I’ve had Ezcema for more than 20 years, on my arms and neck mostly. Used to have it behind my knees and legs when I was a kid but that cleared up now. I recently got it on my face and it’s giving me depression. After watching this video, it makes me think it’s coming from all the stress I’m having and with everything been going on in this world with Covid-19 and such. Also, face masks doesn’t help at all and have to wear them to work everyday. I may become redundant with my current work. It’s hard to stay positive at times like this and my stress level is getting higher. I hate this:(

  • I’m 15 and I’ve been suffering from eczema for 2 years now
The GPs just prescribe me creams and steroids that work temporarily because as soon as I stop my eczema comes back and worsens slowly.
I’ve recently been referred to a dermatologist so hopefully my skin clears .
It makes me really embarrassed by my skin and hate my skin but I guess I just have to be strong and hopefully, soon it will get better
    Thank you for this video
It really makes me feel ppl understand especially every one in the comment section

  • My legs
Already Suffering from 2yrs & now my homeopathic Doctor said it will take 2yrs more to cure this to get your feet like before
    I don’t wear slippers

  • I get it bad on my hands making it so hard to do basic stuff with my hands. My hands burn so badly and crack and bleed. I sadly have been stressed this year and I’m not trying to be but it’s just been hectic. I want to avoid steroid creams because when I stop using them or run out my fingers swell badly and everything burns even just water. I’m beyond tired of this right now it’s getting so bad which is why I’m watching any video I can to seek help without steroid creams. Thank you for this video.

  • I’m here because I had my first eczema flare-up today just out of nowhere. At least I think it’s eczema. My skin wasn’t as severe as hers though but it freaked me out

  • Thank you for sharing this video! I have eczema (not super bad) but defiantly something I have to be aware of my skin. This video was so insightful.

  • I have eczema since I was little used to be on my arms only, now I’m 17 it’s on my head to my legs… it’s a pain. My skin is sore and itchy.

  • Was in trouble when doctor told me that I have been diagnosed with genital herpes… I though about my family, I know my family will face a serious problem when I’m gone, I lost hope and I wept all day, but one day I was surfing the internet I found Dr Uze email. I emailed him and he guided me. I asked him for solution and he started the remedies for my health. • I hate eczema because when it’s itchy and you scratch it, it only gets itchier. Also working out and getting sweating can trigger it for me so it’s a struggle.

  • Great video Michelle! My friend’s son has eczema that he is so self-conscious about, I will be sharing this video with her! Thank you for all of your info!

  • I had eczema when I came to study in the U.K. I was under an extreme stress period and was feeling very low and when the weather changed during spring, eczema just happened. However I also see this as an opportunity pointed out for me to take care of myself more and try not to judge the situation, learn not to take things seriously and be grateful for what I have. And the most important thing is learn to take care of myself.

  • My entire body looks like that right now, face to toes this is my first major flare up and it’s making me miserable. Thank you for your advice!

  • My eczema is definitely stress related. The source of the stress is my occupation, not so much the occupation itself but how much I hate it. Unfortunately it’s all I know and I have a family to support. I doubt if I could make 25% of the income in any other job I could get. My family’s welfare is paramount so I feel very trapped. Some times I can put aside the contempt I have for my occupation and chill but often times the job takes me away from my beloved family for many days on end. My wife is very supportive but we can not see a way out. Ironically the occupation is coveted my many. Go figure.

  • Thank you for the tips!!! My eczema looks like yours…. face, neck and chest. Now it’s on my arms. It’s so stressful… can’t sleep…

  • Nice one! Keep making videos! You should think about using smzeus. c o m! I used it to promote my Instagram and it helped my posts start to trend. It could really help you promote your videos too!

I’ve been suffering from eczema since I was born!
I’ve once been bullied because of that 😉
Even though my eczema is getting better, the experience makes me hesitate to have relationships….

  • I have had a very bad flare up with eczema on my hands. It has lasted almost 4 months. It’s especially hard because I am in healthcare and need to wash my hands all day long. I found that the Aloe Vera plant has been of help to me. I started taking the mature leaves directly from the plant, cut the thorns of the side, scrub it clean, open the leaf sideways, then scrape the gell inside and down a tablespoon of it with water every morning. I save the rest in the refrigerator and rub the leftover leaf on my hands directly for soothing relief. It’s not pleasant tasting at all, but it beats suffering the burning, itching, swelling, dryness and so much more that is associated with eczema. Aloe vera is anti-inflammatory, and so far it has calmed the raging eczema that I have had for almost 3 years now.

  • Just had my eczema flare after 8 years! I figured it must have been triggered by stress, heat, and stay home measures, and sugary foods, and tomatoes! This is after me breaking down my daily routine for the past 2 weeks. I have since cleared up my reddish dry flares on my face, feet, arms. Some Must-haves and must-dos that I would like to share: Ceradan (ceramide-dominat skin barrier repair cream) and Physiogel hypoallergenic Calming relief A.I cream, I literally lather this onto my face and eczema flared areas every hour. It helped! And I cut sugars, and focussed on just cleansing my gut and liver. Taking milk thistle supplements, and Probiotics, and also Apple Cider Vinegar, and celery, bananas! All have helped to clear up my eczema in four days!! Drink lots of water, and also camomile tea to soothe the nerves to control the mind. do Yoga and Meditate. Just sit with ourselves and be comfortable to be still. Just sharing my story, and I pray that I can now control my flares and stop eczema forever! and hopefully help some of my fellow eczema sufferers out there

  • I had been suffering from an aggravating rash underneath my eye. I later on learned that I had been going through eyelid eczema. Nevertheless thanks to eczema guide, I surely could ease the problems in just one day of using the guidebook. • The Medical doctors said Herpes virus do not have medical cure because the virus is capable of hiding within the human cells, it remains protected from your immune system. Herpes isn’t a special virus – your immune system has the tools to fight it back. But because it is able to lay dormant in protected cells, your immune system is unable to remove it from your body,But with strong reactive herbal medication is capable of getting rid of the virus gradually and totally from your body without damaging any of your cells, natural herbs kills the virus totally not just reducing the outbreak. • Sound advice, Vaseline is an occlusive:P and one of the best products I’ve ever used for eczema.

Yes skin hydration directly affects genetic expression in the skin, reduces itching and accelerates healing. I’ve seen people advise avoiding moisturizer for dry skin because the body becomes “addicted”, somehow reducing your natural production of oils, which is of course false. =/

  • Lugol iodine 15 % has healed my son’s eczema on the face after 5 years of suffering diets and creams and nothing helped! Start with one drop a day! All the best!

  • Do you feel that eating animal protein helps with the healing of eczema? I eat chicken, brone broth and lamb but I get bored of eating it over n over again and steer off my diet alot. I feel the vegan/plant based diets don’t help.
