  • Thank you for your lovely review!

On your sealing question, Zip Top containers seal differently than traditional plastic zippered baggies which have tiny, hard, flat plastic zippers. Zip Top containers have large, soft, rounded zippers that flex. Because of this, your containers may, at times, leak a small amount of air if squeezed. In addition, once sealed, because of the pull of the wide, rounded opening, air will sometimes want to seep back in. If so, the small amount of air in your Zip Top will act like air trapped in a typical lidded container.

  • How do you not have more reviews!!!! This is like the best breastmilk storage bag review! This is like Grade A Science project!!!! Nice review it was very helpful. I just bought Lansinoh bags today. My only one minor complaint is that the tab where you write down information is upside down..my inner OCD hates it but it’ll do!

  • I got some unimom bags but they look totally different (blue tree on the bag). They leak. I’m going to have to thaw them in a ziplock. Not sure why but they are flimsy. I filled them to 7oz (bc that’s the max listed on the bag), bad idea. I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about up&up. But the price is great. Want to try parents choice. I freeze about 20-30oz a day and I don’t always want to freeze the max amount.

  • Wonderful and thorough review, with great dedication! thank you! I’m so picking bags for my expected daughter so this is very helpful! While I’ve also found that Lacinoh seems to be the most popular choices, i’ve also seen that pattern of people complaining about leaking not during pouring and freezing, but when they start to thaw. So I might diversify my choices and buy from your 3 recommended bags, to reduce the risk! haha. Also heard that Dr Brown bags are very durable as well! AND, thank you for all the milk that you’ve donated!

  • The only bags I’ve used so far are the free samples I got from lansinoh I have a ton from the hospital and sample boxes. about to try the nano baby bags I got as a sample too. I didn’t expect to be pumping much so didn’t prep for it so I super appreciate your video just had my baby boy july 17 and he was only 37 weeks so he has a hard time latching still, hence why I started pumping he’s getting better now with a nipple shield but I’ve really enjoyed being able to pump and just have milk available for him so his daddy and foster siblings can feed too ❤️ that and my boobs need the relief he can’t keep up with my girls! I feel like I’m gonna end up with a lot of milk in my freezer

  • Hi, I was wondering for a first time mom who is new to the world of pumping, would the spectra be a good option for a first pump to go with or what do you recommend? Btw I really appreciate it that you respond back to me.

  • I’m so scared to try the lansinoh bags. There are so many reviews that say the leak really bad. I’m going to try the bonafide, and maybe get a small box of lansinoh. I’m due in January my hope is that I can pump and donate while also feeding my little.

  • I just picked up the baby nova bags, was happy with how flat they got and they feel thicker then the lansinoh, however i dont like the massive amount of space between the top of the tap and the zipper, i sometimes get milk that drips on the zipper, i prefer the bags that the zipper is right there so theres less of a chance of milk dripping on the zipper

  • Nuk is my fav.. I tried alot alot alot of bags.. Been breastfeeding for the last 15 years.. Preg with baby number 10.. Love this video cause I wanted to get some for my daugther so me and her Have different ones in the storage frezzer for our different babies.. So been looking!! Parent choice leaked everytime I tired it:(.. Thank u for this

  • My favorite is lasinoh, great quality but so expensive. I also used the target brand with my first baby and they didn’t seem as good quality and they leaked. I have tried Evenfo because they were on sale at buy buy baby and they freeze ton thick. My Milk bank provides Ardo brands they are good quality but don’t freeze flat.

  • I was a massive overproducer for the first 4 months. I depended on disposable bags just because I had sooo much in long term storage. I think these look great for someone who’s maybe pumping at work and using for the next day. Or an exclusive pumper who isnt producing enormous amounts above what baby needs in a day.

  • Thank you! Such an amazing video very informational I personally where I live we only have Madela Avent farlin juniors the only good ones are avent and madela

  • Thanks so much for this thorough review! I really, really appreciate it! Especially the vast comparison of dropped and undropped bags in the freezer and thawing stages. Very well performed video; concise and to the point!

  • The issue with leakage I had was when I dropped my frozen bag. The lansinoh bag tore. however, I didn’t notice the leak till I was thawing out the milk and it mixed with water. Had to throw it out at that point.

  • I’m so sorry for your loss

I loved these bags until I noticed the constant freezer burns so I started using Junobie bags and they are amazing!

  • Thanks for posting this! I just ordered my pump today and I was trying to figure out which milk bags to have on hand for when the baby arrives. So this was perfect timing.

  • I’m sorry for your loss.

These bags look pretty nice! I think I’d like them better if there was a lid on the storage part, just for added security for that air getting in. I’d worry about freezer burn if extra air got in.
