  • well I have a question about the drug, the company proposed that PPD is caused by increased allopregnanolone induced homeostatic responses of GABAa receptor during pregnancy and the slow recovery of the receptor after parturition. Then why Zulresso, a drug that is chemically equivalent to allopregnanolone, can be used to treat the PPD but not make the body to lower the level of GABAa receptor?

  • What total crap. I cannot believe the stranglehold Big Pharma has on our corporate media. Check out the actual studies on this “amazing” breakthrough; especially look for Dr. Kelly Brogan’s excellent video (especially relevant when she describes the crucial side effects and the astonishing dangers!) Protect yourself with proper diet, try to get some quality sleep (as a mom of three, I do remember that this was one of the hardest goals, believe me!); lean on help from family if you possibly can. I’m a grandmother now, and have spent much of my life sadly witnessing the devolving of our health care into exactly the insanities of claims such as this presentation brings to the fore. Be your own best advocate; turn off the sold-out, drug-dependent television paradigm, and do your own research for the sake of your baby, and for yourself.
