The Britax Marathon is one great car seat. It’s pricey, but many parents say the cost is worthwhile. Britax has taken much of the guesswork out of properly fitting your baby into a convertible car seat.

The Britax Marathon (model G4.1) is a top-ranked seat in our Convertible Car Seat Review. It managed a higher than average score in every metric including crash test scores and ease of installation and use. This seat is a soft, comfortable seat. Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2019 Purchased this car seat about a month ago and wanted to spend some time using it before writing a review. I love this car seat!

Prior to installing in the car. The Britax Marathon ClickTight is a convertible car seat, which means that it can change configurations as your child grows. Some parents prefer to purchase a rear-facing infant car seat that can be taken out of the car. I’ve been a fan myself for probably the past 5 years. We have been using this seat for a few months now and LOVE it!

It’s such a great seat and one I recommend to just about everyone who asks me for recommendations on the best car seats. The Britax Marathon ClickTight installation alone puts it in my top 3 of recommended convertible car seats. Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Car Seat | 1 Layer Impact Protection Rear & Forward Facing 5 to 65 Pounds, Verve at Amazon.com.

Read honest and unbiased product reviews. I am very happy with this car seat. I have had graco, Eddie Bauer, and this britax.

I am very happy with the latch system on this seat. My favorite feature is the bottom strap that goes between. No one tests car seats like we do. Get ratings, pricing, and performance on the Britax Marathon ClickTight car seat based on the features you care about.

Britax Marathon – A Comprehensive Product Review The Britax Marathon is a convertible car seat that combines ClickTight technology and easy installation to make your child secure while riding in a vehicle. In this review, we will discuss the Britax Marathon. The Britax Emblem is a quality convertible seat with non-rethread height adjustment, push-button LATCH connectors, and better padding and fabric for comfort.

This seat earned impressive crash test results.

Britax is a particularly good choice because the company has not only eliminated the most concerning flame retardants, but the three similar Britax ClickTight models are also the three highest-rated convertible car seats by Consumer Reports, with the top scores on crash protection and ease of use.

  • I wonder how much WIDER this is than the graco extend to fit. This really doesn’t look TOO bulky at all….
I would love to know how wide it is so I can compare it to some other seats like graco extend 2 fit and forever.

  • Britax still does not use the latch system on the new models correct? We just purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition, the 2nd row has airbag seat belts and we are unable to use our Boulevard rear facing because it does not have a latch system, without a latch system we can only use forward facing car seats in the 2nd row. We are back to using our Graco that can be frustrating moving it from vehicle to vehicle.
